| A few days ago, I posted a question asking how to make the Saints defense good. Fortunetely, I got some amazing advice replies from some people. This advice has helped me a lot. First of all, use the NJY defensive playbook, because it is arguably the best in Madden. Then make these substitutions: Vima at LOLB, because most people run to the right of the screen and it'll help having your best LB over there. Then put Fujita at ROLB. Then put Castillas or Semineau at MLB. If you pick Castillas to be your 1# MLB then put Semineau in the 2nd slot MLB. The reason for puting them at MLB is speed. Castillas has 87 speed and that sure helps when your blitzing. Now lets move on to the DB's. Put your 2 highest rated CB as your starters, because one of them is not starting right now. Then put Young at FS, because of his speed. Put Sharper at SS, because he is amazing. Probably one of the greatest DB's of all time. Leave the D-Line as they are right now. Grant - Ellis - Smith I hope that this post has helped someone who has read it. | |

| Will this really work? I use the Saints maybe I will have to try it out. I have trouble with my D from time to time. I really don't want to put people in the game without AWR rating. I think AWR ratings are a big part of the game. | |

| This will really work. Just use the NYJ defensive playbook. Use the 46 formation or the 3-4. Do many zone blitzes from the 3-4. With all the speed on the gridiron you will either sack your opponent or just stop him in his tracks. | |

| Nice post. I don't use the Saints, but I'm gonna play around with my Depth Chart and try to get the same effect. | |

| I run my Saints similar
The OLB's are perfect where they are
I manually sub in Casillas @ 2nd MLB because his Block Shed is really low and he's a backup for Fujita if I decide to move Fujita @ 2nd MLB in the middle of a gm
DB's are a secret haha lol | |

| I run similar defense, though I switch up the CBs a lot. Really indecisive about my CBs. But yeah, Sharper @ SS is perfect. | |

| Hartgrove>Grant. Grant should be your 2nd DT. Vilma is a MUST in the middle. | |

| Saints have a decent D, nothing amazing, could have better height and speed around DE's and Lb's then theyd be fucking amazing. | |

| I love to play with my saints. However, we have glowing problems at OLB. I've been using NYJ def lately so I'll put vilma in at Lolb when I need outside pressure. Grant starts at DT#2 and Casilla's is my number 2 Mlb in the 3-4. I know he doesnt have great awr but his speed allows him to make plays. He lacks strength, but I have plays that get him in the back field untouched. My first MS Post. | |
