Stopping The HB Toss Outside

Hi,
New to the forum and enjoy everyones posts. I am having difficulty with this years Madden for some reason, can anyone suggest a set/formation to stop the outside toss and run plays? Ive been playing people online who do it over and over and cant find a play that will stop this. Thanks in advance

Also any suggestions for someone who abuses the quick slant plays? Thanks

Or just move your MLB to one side, and a safety to the other. Usually stops it.

3-4 cover 2, contain both DE's, blitz both mlb's and bring nose tackle to side you thing he is tossing to

u can try a man coverage play and put a MLB to guard the flats to the side u think the toss is goin to and move your weaker safety in the box and press coverage

works for me user the cb blitzing and spread your line or you could always nano so the qb dont even have enough time to toss it lol

User DE is easiest way to stop toss without sacrificing pass coverage. You can get beat with a play action or anything with user S.

DE contain is money it henders all that crap

the 3 over load blitz out of the 335 nickle seem 2 work for me. hope it work 4 u

DE contain is great for this and it also helps shut down HB/WR screen passes

hey man, do you know what the SBD_ALL_PRO difficulty means?

de contain dosnt do s*** against the hb toss if trhe guy knows what hes doing.... You have to use man coverage, and go int oa dime defense. manually use the outside linebacker thats farthest from the side ut hink hes going, bring him to the side hes going. crash your d-line to the side hes going. blitz your MLB straight down over the tackle of the side hes going.

^^ this works. do it. stop the toss.
