| 1st- The packers have to let him come back, not if! when Bret's reinstated. 2nd- The packers are not going to pay him 12 million to be a back up. 3rd- If the packers can't get a trade executed by the start of the season... they'll cut him for cap prepuce. 4th- Bret's contract states, that he has say in the team he's traded to... thous, hes going to the vikings to be reunited with his old QB coach, now the Vikings offensive coordinator. | |

| NEW ENTRY packers gm flies to mississippi to offer favre a retirement offer of $20M. hahaha is that the way we treat our old? favre hasnt accepted it and doesnt kno wat to do...he reported chartered a plane to green bay which looks like he wants to be traded but to whom? packers say they are looking to trade favre to a nfc north team which is in ther division. so who will it be folks will it be the bears lions or vikings since the bucs are out of the picture...favre is stil thinkin of jus taking the money since noone wants em but says he will play against the pack if they trade em i think he should jus stay home dont go to a noncontender team who might no t be able to protect u like your line at green bay take the 20M plus the 12M he gets from this yr and sit down and preserve your legacy dont go out by someone carrying you old self off the field jus leave it alone man seriously. | |

| NEW ENTRY Brett Favre was reportingly thinking bout takin the 20M settlement to stay retired but be apart of the packers organization. now he is saying that he might jus indeed report to training camp because taking something that is not playing is not part of his plan which is PLAYING so wat will he do? sources say he is just talking this up to get more money out of the pack and others speculate that he will show up at packers training camp and force the packers to make an executive decision which it seems like they DONT wanna do... mr commish roger godell might have to reinstate favre monday and that will start the 24hr clock to either trade or release favre or hey lets keep em around then cut him on the last cuts so we dont have to come out the pocket with that 20M or his 12M salary but he can go where ever he wants to... i think they should call favre's bluff release him so they keep that 25M (2 yrs left on contract at 12.5M a yr) and that retirement offer of 20M and put favre on the market...he will only play for 1 more 2 yrs max because he wont have the same success he had at greenbay...jus like joe montana he will be forgotten and beat into submission (which is retiring and wishing he never started this bull in the first place) | |

| They release him and then the Vikings pick him up and become the top team in the NFC North. Packers are a good team with a young core, but the Vikings have a established D-line and 0-line. Then you add Berrian to the WR core, then dont forget the 2 headed monster of Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor. Now throw a Brett Favre in there, and you have a true NFC contender. | |

| no, with Tavaris Jackson at QB ha!!! He will throw 3 picks in first half and be benched for the Ex-CFL player Bollinger, if he is the backup this year?. AD is a beast but he can only do so much. without Brett they beat them at Home, but not at Lambua | |

This could happen if bret doesn't take the 20 million to stay retried from the packers and if he does go to the vikings... the only team to stop them will be dallas, the best team in the NFC. | |

| Their alot of thoughts going through Brett Favre head right now. He thinking take the 20 million plus the money I already have now and call it a day and retired. Then he also thinking don`t take the deal play for the Vikings making 20 million or more. So their is benfites both ways. | |

| yeah so the commish mr godell reinstated favre and favre is reporting to camp monday and could easily be on the field by tuesday...packers have now put aaron rogers is a f'ed up spot by declaring the qb job open to competition after saying that rogers is our guy the new head of the franchise our FUTURE and brett comes back and all that goes out the window...blowing it out there asses it seems...then to make matter better in my opinion the packers have called the vikings and have told them that brett is OPEN FOR TRADE...im sure they will bit at this but wat will it cost the vikings huh? a first round pick and wat else? im sure the pack dont jus wanna give away brett for that.. how bout send tavaris jackson to the packer or or or or or even better give the back chester taylor...the must make the vikings pay for getting arguable the best qb in nfl history the number sure dont lie right...unloading a big star with presivable big talent to a division rival for a lil first round pick...they keep there 20M but still have to pay brett's 12M salary unless they cut em which is a good idea right but still...BRETT IS LAME FOR DOING THIS TO THE FOOTBALL COMMUNITY and aaron roger who's career is over if brett stays with the pack....thanks brett for ruining someone career caus u cant make up yo mind | |

| Yeah, I doubt it, but they are saying that he will absolutely not go to the Vikings cause they think he came outta retirement just to get traded to them or get released and sign with the Vikings. They really don't want to trade him to any teams in the NFC, but if they did, it will be either the Bears or Bucs. I thought he shoulda went to the J E T S JETS | |

| He is not staying in Green Bay. Aaron Rogers must be going thru it. Imagine having a living legend as your backup ready to come in as soon as you do something dumb | |

| If you watched the press conference, they indicated that Brett will not play for the Packers and Brett was quoted as saying that some things have happened that he couldn't move on from. Meaning he no longer wants to play for the Packers | |

| They would be stupid to trade him to the Vikings... Give him to the Bears they don't have any wide outs. | |
