| Yes, slide protection helps. You know when you go to do a stretch/power O play and your QB gets tackled before the hand-off, or the RB gets hit from behind right after he gets the ball? Slide protection away from the direction you are running will get rid of that. | |

| I think slide protecting the opposite way your running helps imo, because it pushes the dline away more. | |

| yes definetely because that end bull rushing is coming from the side your rolling out so block away from side you roll to. | |
