the drag route

make sure you put this in most of ur
passes. since this pass is damn near unstoppable in zone, you can just
throw it to the guy running this if ur under pressure. sometimes if you
spin the opposite way ur running when you have the ball will get you
more yards unless there in man coverage.

Ya man I add this to all my passes, it has helped me up the field on many occasions

I like using this ttoo. I hate when a LB is at full sprint one way and stops ona dime to turn and pick it though.

Damn good post, hell of a tip. I do just exactly that. No matter what play I call, you can bet one of my recievers is running a shallow. It has helped my deep game big time. People know I like the shallows so they will come up to defend them. Now your deep digs, posts, corners, just about anything downfield will be open.

i love crossing drag routes... if u have time one will come wide open cuz the other defenders if in man will screen the others and u will have at least 8-10 yards.

the drag route is the perfect route if u wanna move the ball down field little by little, even better if u have 2 goin in opposite directiond cause he cant user both of them

I just played a guy and it seemed no matter what I did drag routes were open all day long. If I tried to manually defend one, then he would go to another. He was like 35/42 passing or some garbage. There was just no stopping it. It's annoying seeing him get 4-5 yards a pop every dang time. What can to stop this seemingly unstoppable route?

lol ive been usin the chargers latley and thats exactly wat i have been doin wit sproles and LT(whoevers in the backfield)

Nice play with a drag route I run is:
Gun Split : Texas
Motion guy on right side (O or B receiver) - when he sets on left side put him on drag
You can put HB (Triangle or Y) on drag our out or out route.
You can put outside left guy on fade for RC or keep as is.
TE can stay on streak or out route if in man.

Your FB running the circle route will shield off the linebacker most plays so you can get the ball to the motioned guy running drag. Plus most of the time if you throw it right he may get the block from the FB. Five yard gain most of the time.

thats a dumb game plan because even if ur completeing it everytime for 4 or 5 yards wr's dont have good carring and you will get screwed over cause of fumbles

but after that short catch i have 2 line backer and two safteys ready to hit stick the fumbling wr
alot of people i play do this and thats all they ever get is 3 yards at a time sometimes even less

running a drag when uur oppenent thinks its FL Screen>>>
