this is my passing stick skills E-book. In
this E-book I will tell you some of my secrets to passing the ball
effectively and pocket presence.
Stick Skills - If you have passing skills, you can win alot of games.
here are a few things that you need to have to have passing stick. You
have to know how to user catch or you won't be able to make big plays
when you need them. you also need to know to to RC. it's not enough to
be able to user catch, but you have to know how to RC as well. WHO TO BLOCK
- this is the most important thing in my mind. don't make Antonio Gates
when you can put him at WR and put a tackle at TE and make him block.
POCKET PRESENCE - this is very important when facing a team with a good Dline.
Playing Under center - if you play under center and would like extra
protection use the pistol formation shown in Tru's ebook, and make sure
that you pinch the Oline in and stay in the pocket.
Playing out of Shotgun - If you play out of Shotgun you probablyuse
line adjustments to the side your scrambling to right? wrong. a contain
will shut this down, and its a easier just to sit in the pocket and
wiat for som1 to get open.
using playaction - playaction has become harder this year with the
Dline getting around the blockers. this is where you want to slide
protect to the side your going to scramble out to if you scramble out,
but if no play aggressive.
MY SECRETS TO PASSING - here are 4 of my secrets to the passing game
#1. can you playmaker? this is the bread and butter of some of my
schemes. try this: come out of singleback big and do the play called
Z-spot. hot route the TE on the right to do a streak. your #1 WR will
be motioned, then he'll pause and the ball will be hiked. use the
playmaker, and playmaker him up to see the result.
#2. route running - you always want to know what route your receivers
are running. this way you can run back over 15 yards, and still make a
pass. you can come out of 5WR bunch quad curls, and run back about 15
yards, then wait for som1 to get open, and it'll be a completion every
time regardless of if they blitz or not.
#3THE MOST IMPORTANT take the sack - just take the sack.
don't run around trying to make a play, then get sacked for more yards.
just take the sack. if your out of the tackle box, then throw the ball
away so that you don't get sacked. don't try and make a play with
Phillip Rivers or Peyton Manning. the only people who you should try to
make a play with are VY and Tarvaris.
#4 Stop Scrambling backwards - If your trying to stop scrambling
backwards because you have a fast QB, put in a QB that isn't fast and
start scrambling backwards. you will get sacked a few times, but it'll
get you out of the habit. you may want to try this out in unranked
games, then go onto ranked games
