Getting an accurate throw Empty
PostSubject: Getting an accurate throw   Getting an accurate throw Empty2008-11-10, 14:03

Basically, whats the best technique to get the most accuracy from a throw?

Whenever I want to step into a throw (particularly when going deep) my QB ends up taking steps (as if hes running) and the throw is never accurate, and also, makes him throw high which usually ends in picks or the receiver jumping and getting knocked out.

well directional passing helps alot.for example if u opponent has a cover 2 and u have 2 guys goin streak directional pasing to the right will make a better throw and keep it away from the defender.

wat ever way your movement trigger is pointing the ball goes

i figured this out the hard way with a game on the line.

i threw it hight got picked and lost game.

stepping up in pocket is good BUT U MUST SET YOUR FEET if u do not whatever way u are moving the ball is going

i run the Ravens. Flacco's arm is strong....but...not the most accurate. neither is Troy Smith's. but....i improved their accuracy during games by SETTING THEIR FEET before the throw like OGian23 said. This has helped me out alot.

Go to practice and learn the difference between lead passing and precision passing.

i run the Jaguars as well. remember....Garrard's THP&THA ratings are 93/93. he can be extremely accurate once you plant his feet.
