| I'm just wondering what type of offenses you guys run?
I play against all-madden in offline franchise (against the CPU). My overall strategy is to grind it out to burn the clock and hold it with a good defense (though I still score 30+ against all madden [11 min quaters/ accel clock]).
I like to run from heavy formations (two-three TEs with two RBs) and a speedy HB to get around the corner or down the middle when I see an opening. To compliment the run, I do short passes to my RB and FB in the flats. I also like speedy TEs like Vernon Davis as my second TE in formations to get open on short routes. Since my TEs and FBs can catch as well, they have no problem getting the initial short yardage catch, and speed their way for a first down. Oddly, my FBs get more catches than my HBs who are also good at receiving. It's because nobody ever covers the Fullback!!!!
I like speed from my WRs but I sometimes use a large (Vincent Jackson type) WR in 1-2 WR formations so they can block when I run around the corner with Chris Johnson. I hardly ever use shotgun formations. My #1 and #2 WR can go a whole game with out a catch and still consider it a good game for my passing offense.
So what type of offense do you run? What's your strategy to out score your opponent?

| I wouldn't say my offense is pass happy or run heavy. More of a balanced attack from all aspects. I rarely play action, and i rarely run sweeps and tosses. I basically call my play and make my adjustments at the line. Run and/or pass. I don't really like WR's that much. I like 2 or 3 good backs. and 2 or 3 good TE/FB's. Because i can put TE's and RB's at more positions then i can a WR. My Rb can be my FB or a WR, my TE can be my FB or WR as well. So basically you can say i enjoy mismatches and exploit them. | |

| SHOTGUN all day! no way baby! i like slingin it around the field, going deep on alot of my throws, the eagles have such great offensive weapons especially in the pass game its hard to get away from, then you throw in the fact that 3/4 of the running backs on the roster have 80+ in catching too so its all good, i am deffinetly pass happy! but i do mix some gun runs in too to keep my OPP. honest. | |

| i do, shady and brian average about 30-40 yards a game, but i do it out of gun its just where im most comfortable running from, i ran in a spread offense in high school as a RB so maybe thats why, anyhow with such a strong passing attack it softens up the D for some draws and nice outside runs with pulling guards, its a lil different but it works for me. | |

| It depends I'll come out passing then i'll slow it down. If i'm winning i'll usually run a little more. I love passing it all over the place though. | |

| I would say I am balanced. I am more of an under center style though. I like to scheme and make my plays look similar. Motion is key to my offense | |

| ^Yeah same. Keep um guessin. I try to stay away from shotgun if possible. Run 50% Pass 50%. I use motion a lot to setup plays and get the D moved around. I never abuse one side of the field. I like usin 2 tight ends and gettin my fullback involved. | |

| undercenter players give me headaches if they are good at it i have a hard time beating them. last year i loved under center players, but since their is no run or pass commit i hate playing undercenter players. i myself am a run heavy guy. | |

| I play mostly offline too. I like to do short passes all day, and run ONLY when I see an opening. Some games I will have 18+ runs; others I have 4+ runs. I pass ALL DAY. Underneath to a tightend, flats to a TE, flats for a FB or just lob a deep one in hopes it'll be caught in a double coverage. In short, it's easy to make solid progression unless I **** up by running too much. My running game is s*** with Westbrook and can only pick up yards with people with 86-93 speed. | |

| Undercenter all the way for me with a prinkle of some shotgun. I like balance but right now I am 55-45 pass to run. I throw the ball from under quite a bit but that includes PA Passing. | |

| i sling the rock all day out of shotgun mostly to avoid the pesky nano's, undercenter is an easy nano, but after that then i kick the jewls with draws to open up the running game. i sling to run basically | |

| my main approach is confusion and using the tools i have to my advantage. so a lot of the same looks, PA boots, different packages. my thing is having at least 2 plays for any formation i pick that can exploit the zone or man.
i like shotgun plays the give me immediate control of the qb like: hb slip screens, fl screen, z spot with auto rollout, etc. i also like any play that has the clown route and corner route.
i like undercenter plays that have a nice PA boot in it.

| I like to come out in one of my man/ zone blitz killers everytime. Once I see my opponent is in zone I audible to a run or a play that has a high percentage chance of me hitting my first or second reads. | |

| I would say my offense is a controlled pass balanced but I will turn the running up when I see that my opp. isn't defending it. Short to medium throws and run to keep things honest eating up the clock. Just the other day playing online I played 5 wide and took up the whole 3rd and a little in the 4th held the guy with basic defense mixed with 1 nanno and got the ball back just to run it out | |

| My approach can be summed up in one word: Smashmouth.
I play power football. I lineup with no more than 2 WRs on the field 99 percent of the time, and dare you to stop my running game. I'm not a finesse runner either. I tend to run people over rather than fake them out.
