What is the point of this?

Last night I was playing some lvl 34 who had Fake FG Run/Pass and Fake Punt as his audibles. How is this beneficial?

There's a lot of cheese players that truly given up on how to move the ball properly so they resort to unusual formations like the FG/PUNT.

He probably realized that he could lose if you two played straight up, then maybe he got desperate.
