Bears Safety change Empty
PostSubject: Bears Safety change   Bears Safety change Empty2008-03-19, 19:48

There are a few options for the Bears Safeties:
1. Keep McCown there
2. Control McCown and bring him to the line as almost an additional LB
3. Place Daniel Manning in there: Why? Because he is faster. Plain and Simple
NOT: Use #3 is you are going against a pass heavy offense like the Colts. Do NOT use against the Pats because Daniel Manning will not deliver a hard hit needed to stop Moss.
Notably use #2 against the Chargers and Vikings
Use #1 If you do not know how your opponent plays

In addition to these changes, here is some CB advice

Place Vasher on the faster WR in a game. Place Tillman on the slower one.

When the other team is in the red zone, put Tillman on the taller/hands/spec. catch reciever since he is stronger, shut down corner, and press corner.
Vasher is smart and almost aa shutdown weapon. he isnt as tough as Tillman though.
For the spec. catch reciever int he red zone, it is harder for the reciever to bring down the ball without Tillman knocking him over.

Example:
Bears vs. Colts
Put Vasher on Harrison and Tillman on Wayne
In the redzone, put Tillman on Harrison and Vasher on Wayne

How do you even use the Bears... I used the Bears 3 times and everytime I barely got the win because Grossman throws no where the reciever a lot of times.

Why not use Brown as safety and put Manning at 4th cb?
