chargers offense

is there anyway possible to stop them?

What kinda plays do they do?

the chargers are really good in madden. if gates is who you are having trouble with, user control or assign a fast LB to cover him at all times. LBs i would use would be Patrick Willis, Jerod Mayo, can't think of anything else right now.

Well if u use the vikings put your best Safety of Defensive back on Antonio Gates. and find the man lats plays and control your linebacker to knock Sproles out. 30 percent chance he will fumble. Take it from me, i play with the chargers. And their defense, all u gotta do is a toss or Blast play with Peterson and u are guaranteed to get at least 6 yards on the play. When you are tossing send a TE in motion the way you are running for an extra blocker. Only throw on 3rd down.

The ironic thing about this post is that I use the Chargers, and I can't get anything going on offense or defense. Granted, I been away from Madden a few years, just goes to show it's all about the person using them.

chargers suck and are slow on here idk why everyone thinks theyre so good...receivers are mediocre at best. Antonio sproles and LT are nice but there D-line is slow and safeties are hella weak for them.

a very large O, a beast of a pass rush with Merriman and phillips, i personaly move cramartie to FS so i can user him (95 speed can cover the whole field)

Is there anything special you're doing to get that pass rush? I never seem to get there. Also, How do you choose which area or receiver to patrol with Cromartie @ FS? I am getting killed with passes to the flat. How do I stop this? Thanks for any advice.

Well for one...there d-line is slow cause they run a 3-4. In a 3-4 you want your d-line to be 300+ and strong as an ox. They get there pass rush from there LBs, not the line.

i tend to save my pass rush for 3rd and long when i come out in quarter and i use the LB pass rush package. as long as you can manualy cover whoever is open just long enough to take away thay first read and by then the rush will get there

as far as cramartie goes i just cover whoever runs across the middle without getting sucked up to close to the LoS. you can play close cause his speed still allowes you to make up deep if you run cover 3 but you cant get to close

for a 1st and 2nd down pass rush i use a delayed BnR. jammer can stuff the #1 WR and cason (who is the #2 corner after i move cramartie) has some success with the BnR. do that with anything that has the OLB blitzing then just manualy cover the flats
