How to stop slant pass?

a buddy of mine pass the whole game.. i shut down a few things he like to do like corner route pass,screen pass but i cant seem to key a good defense on them slant route passes he does.. any suggestions?

try some kind of zone defense, have ur OLB's do a zone coverage and have ur MLB blitz the inside and press the coverage. it works for me, i play with the raiders and they have good LB's

sub ur mlb with a fast db and user him or spotlight the him

use quarter zone blitz pince d-line shift fs n ss dwn den get on nickel cb n blitz hard da DE's will go n yellow zones n pick it off or tip it prac dis play always work if u run it right send me any sweet plays hav on off or de n I'll snd u an unblockable nano any who whts it hit me up
