Some Semi-Newbish Questions

Hi All,

This sight looks like it's perused regularly with some pretty helpful people. So I'm new to Madden 10, but I use to play Madden 08 quite a bit. Since the games user manual is so incredibly awful, I'll throw out a few questions that can hopefully get answered; most of them refer to regular Franchise Mode. I'm playing on PS3 if that matters.

What's the best way to improve player ratings? In '08 you could practice with up to 3 players a week doing different drills, but I can't find that option in 10.

What happened to the Weapons feature that indicated certain stellar players as being certain kind of weapons (truck back, etc.)?

That's about all I've got for now. Looking forward to taking the Pack to the Superbowl (and maybe watching them do it for real this season!)

i don't think there is any way to improve player's attributes in franchise mode. pretty sure they took that feature out, along with the player weapons. just look at the attributes, and you will be able to tell which players are good at certain things.

But their attributes will still improve naturally over the coarse of a season right?

I'm glad the weapons feature is gone.

i know at the end of a season of franchise mode older players will lose overall pts and younger guys will gain (depending on the stats of previous year) and yeah i agree thank god the weapons feature is gone most of us know who are good tacklers and "spectacular" catch recievers we dont need a icon for it
