secret passing

L2 passing is on ps3..most people dont know this so im just sharing info..i use this a lot.it makes ur pass more accurate if u dont know.i thread the needle so much wit this lol.well here u go my first tip in exclusive

Where do you see this because I still find this to be a myth (having tried it myself last year) and I don't see it anywhere in any kind of controller configuration on any site.

well on the 360 ppl used it mostly for RCing last year. it puts a little more air under the ball so you have more time to get under it but i'm interested because devo said it makes people more accurate. i've never really felt that it helped for regular throws but maybe you guys can enlighten me.

well it doesnt make them peyton manning throwin but it does make throwin wit guys like jamarcus easier. and yeah mac they had it last year too it alot of guys used it for RCs like huh said

Its called precision passing. If you just use the left stick to pass thats lead passing. Precision passing helps when you have a bad passer. It doesnt lead the receiver, so you want get a lot of yards after the catch.

u just hold l2 before uthrow it which sets ur qbs feet while ur still holding l2 n u pass it to ur intended receiver..i use it sumtimes for rc n normal passes.

Yea last year I used it for RCing and I used it for crossing routes when people sat in cover 3 all day.. It put more air on the ball and got it higher so it would be a completion and not an interception.. If u lab it and use it the right way it will help u a lot to limiting turnovers and moving the ball more consistantly on 1st and 2nd downs and not having 3rd and longs a lot..

Yeah, I guess you guys are right. But what is the difference between doing this and passing without using the right stick at all? Shouldn't both situations result in throwing directly to the receiver? It definitely works, not amazing but I can tell that it does on certain passes. The thing I don't get is why they put it in the game and why don't they list it on the controls???

They do mention it. It's called strafe, and that's all that this is doing. The QB strafes giving him a better passing situation. This is the reason you can't hold L2 and R2 and throw the ball.

yea this is most effective in zone cuz it kinda throws it behind the receiver so he slows down on his route so it wont result in a pick while the receiver is in between 2 hook zones..

Can you use this and precision passing at the same time?

yeah maybe have to get a super sorry qb or somethin but it looks nothin like ppl where saying specially it being worth being a secret lol

it's seems to make a big difference for bad qbs. try throwing a crossing route against zone with jamarcus using the trigger 10 times and not using the trigger 10 times. that's how i saw the difference. it doesnt seem to do much with accurate qbs tho.
