lions suck on D please help a loyal fan win a few

dude, huge lions fan. i know we suck but a true fan stays with his team. how many new pats fans have you seen in the last few years. what can i do to win a few games on franchise mode. i get picked apart to easy. i can score just can't play D. any really easy nano blitz i can do with my squad.

i don't know if you are talking about against a user or against the CPU. nanos don't work that well against the CPU, it's best to just use some regular blitzes. against a user, search the forums for past threads about nanos, there are plenty out there.

i like playing franchise mode vs the cpu, mostly

46 inside blitz, press cov your corners. Reblitz both DT's, place OLB in between both DTs and blitz him down.
Takes me 2-3 seconds to set up, the Linebacker will get through the line unblocked unless a RB is blocking. The DT also breaks through the line unblocked at times. this is because the Center has to choose on who to block.


Against the CPU, this is ok, as long as your press can hold up. ( lions dont exactly have the best Press corners abviously) so yeah, dont go doing this to the Pats/Colts.

BTW, move the safety thats covering the TE/WR down to press cov. them otherwise the CPU QB will just quick pass to them.

I like to use dollar, cover 2 sink and reblitz the d-line and play Ernie Sims in the middle of the field. move the secondary closer to the line

Dollar strong eagle 2 and play the middle-deepmiddle with Delmas or bring Avril or White over to the blitzing side and blitz the hell out of him.

Sometimes when I'm waiting for the CPU to run the play, I wait until the last possible moment and switch my play to the 43 blitz( ) if I think they'll run.

But I definetely know what you mean about the Lions. Our secondary is horrible and the Line puts absolutely 0 pressure on opposing QBs. I've seen qbs stand back in the pocket long enough for WRs to come all the way back to the line of scrimmage. And the secondary drops every ball that should be picked.
