Around The League

Up to this point, there have been a total of 27 games that have been played in MG's inaugural PS3 division season. And the best part of it all is that today marks the league's official start date. The league activity has been phenomenal and everyone fully expects for it to continue as the owners blast off from the starting line. In the last two days, MG has already seen its fair share of blowouts and nail biters. Competition is fierce as the owners try to separate themselves from the pack. With multiple battles for supremacy going on at once, one thing is certain - Only one will be left standing.



The Jaguars and Colts exchanged first round punches as the two division rivals managed to pull out a win in their back-to-back set. Owners Tallywood and Hailthewild were also credited for playing the first ever game of MG-PS3's history. Though one of the owners is no longer with MG, these two can always know that they played the first game of what will one day grow to become a well established online league.


Dominance has emerged early in both conferences through owners tevin-bradford and CJ with the Bills and Packers as their respective teams. They are definitely the early favorites to reach the Superbowl as well as claim this week's "MG Player of the Week" Awards. Tevin-Bradford has made it a mission to get his weapons in prime positions to make plays, while CJ has Aaron Rodgers and Grant responsible for 5 TD's each. Both ballers have got their D also making plays when it matters the most.


D-Dubb and and SoopAStar provided us with this gem of a game. With only 6 seconds left in the game, D Dubb hits Moss in the flats to give his Redskins the win and a good a start to his MG campaign. SoopAStar walked into this one with his head high after a win over beeman and his Jets, and could have easily won this and started the season 2-0. We'll be keeping an eye on both owners and see how this outcome affects the rest of their season.



Lurking in the shadows is none other than DatBallHawk who has gotten off to a good start at 2-0. Both of his wins looked convincing on paper but may have gone unnoticed due to the Packer's hot start. MG enthusiasts are surely looking forward to the two divisional games between the Bears and the Packers. If anyone has a chance to thrown a wrench into CJ's plans, it will be that Bears D.
