Yea Hester ran a 4.45 at the combine which is kinda average for CB's.

who cares what he ran. football speed is different when u have on pads. i dnt care if he ran 4.7 as long as he keeps doing what hes doing. u can be fast n suck at your position. i rather have TD'S than speed anyday.

Good point Ice. The best wr of all time ran only a 4.6 in the 40 but he rarely got caught from behind. Of course James Jett ran a 4.2 in the 40 and we know that there is no comparison between the two. Football speed is totally different from 40 speed. The only thing that matters is how they perform with the pads on. Too much emphasis is put on how these guys time in the 40.

Im not saying he is not the best returner of all time because he is. He is simply incredible to watch, all I'm saying is that I dont think Madden should have gave him an 100 for speed because there are other players in the league faster than him.
