Controlling safeties?

When using Nick Collins or Bigby for packers, when trying to intercept a pass, I press why and sometimes he just stands there, am I pressing it to early?

when playing with a safety its best to hold the strafe button while your romeing the field that keeps you squared off to attack the ball always come forward for a pic attack the ball dont just stand there a press y or triangle. hope this helps

What is Strafe? L2?

they straf really weird in madden 10 they get out of position badly nd wen u press triangle to int the pass the bat the ball down most of the time ...unless l2is not strafe

When moss keeps wrecking you, you have to control and double team.

strafing is probably the best way to get set for a pick other wise just make sure ur not to far or to close to the red ring on the field

strafing is L2 on the PS3, but you can't just use it out of nowhere. i think it's best to strafe from the snap, just play deep and jump a route one you recognize it.

yeh i get what u mean when u say u cant just strafe out of nowhere u can giv up a lot of easy catches lik that...
