Corner Routes

i play with the panthers and i cant seem to hit a corner route! is it jake delhomme or me? is there a certain button or what?

i have the same problem j russ throws the bal 10 yrds out of bounds s*** pisses me off. i lead up w/ bullet it goes out of bounds. i just throw a bullet w/ no lead it goes out of bounds.i lead it and throw the ball lightly not a lob but not a hard bullet pass and its under thrown WTF

It is alot harder this year for corner routes, the timing has to be damn near perfect.

Well I am having some trouble with it. Maybe I just suck or don't have the timing down or something. Last year corner routes were easy, this year not so much. I notice though that TE's are money in this game for some reason I always look to my TE if I need a first down.

Same problem here. The only way I can hit a corner, is if the receiver is WIDE open. If there is anyone within 5 yards, the WR will get hit and drop the ball.

i dont see what the huge problem is here. those wide circle routes i hit all the damn time with... Tarvaris Jackson. I can also hit play action to Percy at the sideline no problem with... Tarvaris Jackson. Maybe im just godly at timing, or Percy has some unholy super leap or something but it seem 2 not have issues with it.

Yes, Percy is Godly in this game -- which is ridicUlous -- he's like 5'4 and jumps as high as moss -- plus he broker 4 guys on him and went 80 yards on 3rd and 20....ok I m a litl bitter...

maybe try to roll out a little

i have been having huge success with corner routes, but you have to pick your spots. if you are doing them all the time, the defense will pick up on it. set it up with some slants or out routes so they press a little, then burn them with a corner.

Make sure u have the ball at the center of the field or too one side so that side isn't so crowded, that is one of the main reasons they throw out of bounce. Also row out a little away from the WR thats doing it so you can have some more air under it.

i just RC the corner its so easy im a better RCer in 10 then 09 and in 09 i RCed everything (corner,fade,streak,curl,out)ANYTHING lol

how do you throw them?

In 09, I would just pass lead towards the sideline and bullet when the WR made his break. Worked against Man as well...

Now sometimes the DB is riding right behind my WR, and he can always leap in the air and swat it, even if I pass lead ahead.

Any suggestions on how to pass lead to hit the route?

Brady is auto matic with the corner and can't stop him in the end zone
