There have been alot of teams coming out and publicly stating that they do not want Vick so i made a list of the teams that have said they dont want him and narrowing down the possibilitiies .
TEAMS NOT INTRESTED IN VICK.
here is a list of teams who have actually came out and said they dont want michael vick
Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons cut Vick in June, and team owner Arthur
Blank has said several times he doesn't anticipate Vick playing for the
Falcons again.
Baltimore Ravens: Head coach John Harbaugh acknowledged that the Ravens
have considered Vick. "We've had long discussions about (Vick) and we
have a feeling about how he would impact our team and not impact our
team," Harbaugh said. (July 28)
Buffalo Bills: Team COO Russ Brandon said the Bills have "no interest
at this time." Said Brandon, "We're comfortable with our roster as it
stands right now." (July 28)
Carolina Panthers: Head coach John Fox refused to rule out signing
Vick, but said "right now we're pretty set at quarterback." The
Panthers gave Jake Delhomme a five-year extension in the offseason.
(Aug. 2)
Chicago Bears: Head coach Lovie Smith said he supports Vick's re-entry
into the NFL, but didn't indicate it would come with the Bears. "I
think Mike deserves a second chance, like everyone in society who has
paid their debt to society," Smith said. "He deserves a second chance.
As far as we're concerned, we like this team that we have right now."
(July 30)
Cincinnati Bengals: Team owner Mike Brown said he would not pursue Vick, but he hopes some other team does. (July 28).
Cleveland Browns: Coach Eric Mangini said the team is not interested in
pursuing Vick. "I'm happy with our group of guys," Mangini said. (Aug.
1)
Dallas Cowboys: Owner Jerry Jones says the Cowboys have no plans to
sign Vick. "I want to be real clear in that I like where we are at
quarterback," Jones said. "That's it. I just like where we are. I don't
want to move where we are at quarterback." (July 28)
Denver Broncos: Team owner Pat Bowlen denied a report by former player
Bill Romanowski that he met with Vick on Aug. 3. Earlier, coach Josh
McDaniels was noncommittal. "We always evaluate every player, but we're
not bringing him in right now and we're content with the guys we have
coming to camp," McDaniels said on July 29.
Detroit Lions: Coach Jim Scwhartz answered "probably not" when asked if
the Lions would have interest in Vick. The Lions selected QB Matthew
Stafford with the first overall pick in April's draft. (July 29)
Oakland Raiders: * Due to Popular Demand =] * Bringing Michael Vick would make sense here , but The raiders allready have two quarterbacks allready in a quarterback battle in training camp with Jeff Garcia and Jamarcus russell , INDEED russel is the future of Oakland but Garcis has been known to put up a fight and even tho he is past his glory days in San francisco , He knows he is capabale of starting in the Nfl .
Indianapolis Colts: Former coach Tony Dungy, who will mentor Vick as
part of the quarterback's reinstatement, previously said Indianapolis
would be an appealing destination for Vick, if not for the presence of
Peyton Manning. Current coach Jim Caldwell reiterated that. "We really
love our quarterback situation," Caldwell said. "Mike Vick's a very
fine football player and I'm certain he'll find a niche somewhere. But
at this particular time, on this team, there's not a need." (July 31)
Kansas City Cheifs: A team spokesman said back in May: "The Chiefs have
no comment regarding Michael Vick. They haven't given any thought to
it. They don't want to be involved in any conversation about Michael
Vick." The team also signed quarterback Matt Cassel to a six-year
contract this month.
Houston Texans: Bob McNair is the latest NFL owner to say he is not
interested in signing quarterback Michael Vick.“No, we don’t have any
interest in him,” McNair said. “We’re very happy with the quarterbacks
we have.” (Aug 4)
Jacksonville Jaguars: Coach Jack Del Rio told the Florida Times-Union his club is not interested in acquiring Vick. (July 27)
Miami Dolphins: GM Jeff Ireland released a statement saying the team has no interest in Vick. (July 29)
Minnesota Vikings: Coach Brad Childress and owner Zygi Wilf said that
the Vikings would not pursue Vick. "It would have to be a no,"
Childress said when asked about the possibility. (July 30)
New England Patriots: Team owner Robert Kraft doused speculation that
the Patriots would pursue Vick when he said on Aug. 1 that doesn't want
to acquire a player who would limit snaps for QB Tom Brady. "We've got
the number one player in the world at that position, as far as I'm
concerned," Kraft told Sirius satellite radio. "Why would we want do
anything that would take (Brady) off the field for one play?" On July
31, one day after calling Vick an "outstanding player," coach Bill
Belichick evaded direct questions about having interest in Vick. "I
don't know that it's ruled in or ruled out," he said. "I don't think
it's ever been put that way, so I can't answer that."
New Orleans Saints: GM Mickey Loomis stood by his statement from last
month that he's not interested in adding Vick. "We have already
commented on Vick and have nothing further to add," Loomis said. (July
29)
New York Jets: GM Mike Tannebaum states that “We’ve got Kellen Clemens and now we have this young quarterback in Mark Sanchez and I
think we are good on quarterbacks,” Johnson said, adding that the Jets also
didn’t see Vick as an option.
New York Giants: Giants owner John Mara just gave Eli manning a $97 Million dollar contract extension so theyre set at quarterback .
San Francisco 49ers: Head Coach Mike Singletary stated that Vick is a fine athlete but they think that the quarterbacks they have right now know the system and thats the direction they're going to go in .
TEAMS THAT HAVEN'T COMMENTED ON VICK YET.
Seattle
St.louis
Tampa Bay
Pittsburgh
Washington
Philadelphia
Tennessee
Green Bay
San Diego
Arizona
Ok Arizona , San diego , Pittsburgh , Philadelphia , Seattle and Green Bay all have NFL legitimate starting quarterbacks so im guessing these teams aren't looking to go Wildcat with Vick , so im gonna narrow it down to a couple teams that I think vick will sign with through this Process of Elimination .
1.SEATTLE- Michael Vick and Jim Mora teamed up together in Atlanta a couple years ago and reached the NFC championship game and they also have a great relationship .
2.TAMPA BAY- This Team is known for getting a bunch of quarterbacks for no damn reason and they really dont have any playmakers on the team right now so they might be looking for a game changer.
3.ST.LOUIS- Face it this team has been in the SH!TS for the past 6 years in the nfl they need to generate some offense besides Steven Jackson and michael vick could bring a jolt to this team to relive the glory days of " The Greatest Show On Turf ".
4.Washington- They need someone to push Jason Campbell to improve his game or else get ur job taken , Campbell has yet to drastically improve his team or lead them to the playoffs , Michael vick could come in and compete for the starting job and could work out better in Jason Campbell's favor.
TEAMS LEFT .
5.Philadelphia- Mcnabb is getting old and Kolb in his past starts was absolutly horrible and this team has been known to have a knick for scrambling quarterbacks . The Eagles have a bunch of Young offensive weapons that could be explosive for years to come , Even tho its not likely If vick came to philly , The fans would have his back no doubt.
6.Pittsburgh- Owner Art Rooney has been known to give players a second chance and they have done well in their second chance. This Organization is no doubt the best run and best coached team in all of the Nfl and if Vick came to Steel Town and played well , His image would greatly be fixed.
7.Green bay- * Due to Popular Demand =] *General manager Ted Thompson refused to rule out signing Vick, but did
not say the team was making an active play for him. "We're always
looking to improve our team and we look at all options at all times,"
Thompson said. "I wouldn't care to speculate in terms of the odds or
anything like that."
8.Tennesse- IF Keary Collins breaks half way through the season because hes so damn old and Vince young continues to cry like an insubordinate child , Vick could come in play well and win the starting job and keep it for many years to come.
9.Arizona - Even tho this is very unlikely because of Arizona's PASS ALWAYS offense , Kurt Warner is getting old and wen he leaves the team , Matt leinart will no doubt become the starting quarterback, but having vick come in on some plays could leave NFL defensive Coordinators really having to scheme in order to contain vick and leaving DB's on their heels knowing Vick can throw and run .
FINAL DECISION.
THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
I believe Vick will be wearing Seattle BLUE and be reunited with Coach Jim Mora it all leads to this , just wait for time to develop .
