FB Dive Strong
This play can be extremely effective with a power FB. Lead block your center and pancake your opponent. This will allow the FB a huge gap to run through.

FB Dive Fake HB Toss
If your opponent is crashing is sending there linebackers on a blitz this will get you a guaranteed first down. Again, lead block your center or linemen to create the ultimate fake.

PA Cross In
If you establish your irst 2 run plays in this formation, this should be effective. This has a rollout which allows your QB more time to throw on the PA. Your primary target should be on the flag route. Look for your slot receiver on the cross route as well. If all else fails and these 2 are covered then u get coming in on a cut route. This play is very very effective.

Slot Outs
With your 2 slot receivers, look for them making a quick out route. Usually you will see extreme seperation immediately. If there is a zone, wait longer then fire it in. If the zone is covering this so much you should have your outside receivers open on the streak.

HB Screen
Having trouble moving the ball against nanos? This is the play to counter it. You will have your RB open on the screen with his blockers ready to move him past the first down marker.

HB Quick Base
I would do this on passing situations. You can get a great amount of yards on this due to the coverage your opponent will be in due to the shotgun. I would press
then to have your vision on the wide receiver which is even more deceptive.

WR Screen
This is the best screen in the game. With Moss and Stallworth as your outside receivers, I would flip the play consistently to confuse your opponent. This play has the most blockers out of any screen in the game.

Hitch Corners
This play is filled with flag and post routes which is one of the most effective routes on madden. Look for and on the flag routes. Not open? Then you got for the post route. If you see that you cannot pass it to them you got your outside receivers on hook routes. This play attacks the deep part as well as the short part.

Curl Drag
This route is very hard to master consistently. Look for on the fade route that goes behind your outside receiver. As soon as is about to go straight fire a HIGH bullet pass to him. He should jump up and this is almost impossible to defend. Lab this out to master it. This is the same route Reggie Bush used against the Bears to get his 88 yard TD pass

Parallel Slants
Watch these corners smash into eachother and leaving or wide open. Great play for short yardage and with a playmer wide receiver, perhaphs a TD.

Slot Option In
Rollout to the left on this play. Watch running a circle route. When you see him make his final cut outside fire a high left bullet pass.

Middle Corner Post
FLIP THIS PLAY. Motion to the right and right when he hits the left guard snap the ball. Watch him seperate and seperate from his defender. If you see start to get open fire a bullet pass in there. 2 great options on this play


Shotgun » Slot Strong Te Flip

WR Post
Look for on the cross route. Since the TE is running this, you will get more seperation.

Deep Dig
As you see, your slot receiver and outside receiver are running straight. These 2 will drag there defenders with them causing to have 1 on 1 coverage running his out route. You will see him creating space and throw him the ball.

WR Corner
This play has so many options you will not know what to do. will be open as he runs the out route. Since there is nobody on the right side of the field, he will have so much room to work with. Your second option is as he runs the circle route to the sidelines. If there is a zone, watch as he runs the flag route. When you see him make the final cut, fire a high bullet pass.

TE Corner
Since this formation has no one on the right side of the field, the TE will be the primary target. What him run the flag route. You have :triange: running another flag route on the left making more decisions. Look for your slot receiver running the post route too. You can attack all the parts of the field by this play.

Slot Quick Flat
Look at and . What do you notice? They are both running slant routes. That means QUICK PASS to on the flat route. You will immediately have open field ahead of you.

TE Go
You have 2 main options here. If you have a big TE watch the streak route. Since where he is lined up, he will have single coverage. That means all you have to do is fire a bullet pass high and watch him come down with it. If you are patient, watch come across the field on the drag route. He will have no one by him.

COME OUT WITH MOSS AS YOUR PRIMARY RECEIVER ( ). Make one of these plays as your audible. Moss will come in like a TE and will be effective.

Slot Cross
These plays are the most effective in Madden. Roll out and watch and develop there cross routes. If you wait, you will have making his outside drag.

Slot Option
Look at your 2 right outside receivers. Watch run the flag route and run the out route. You will have 1 of those guys open.

Slot Read
You have running a cut route inside and running a out route to the right. Watch these 2 closely and when you see seperation, hit them.

Trips Strike
You will see that and run delay routes. That will cause them to get open quicker. Wait a little bit, but if there is a blitz, Id recommend to go to on a cut route inside or on the straight streak.

HB Plunge
Lead block, pancake or cut, and let the yards pick up.

HB Stretch
This play is so effective with a fast RB. With playmakers like Bush, Jones Drew, or Willie Parker; these plays are deadly.

HB Dive
Your slot receiver will come in on a green route to block. Nice run play.

X Option
Watch go on an out route. Since he is lined up there, he will have good room to run when he gets the ball.

FB Dive

PA FB Flat
These plays seemed to have the FB always open. As the playaction is finished, look at , can you believe hes that wide open?

FB Dive
Continue to pound the ball. Again, get your lead blocking on.

Conclusion
This playbook is primarily for high powered offenses like the Saints, Colts, Patriots, or Steelers. It is hard to establish your run but since the shotgun formations are so nice, you may not have to. I recommend it for the elite pass players. If you like to run, this is not the playbook for you
