Two a Days

we just started our first day of conditioning and im fuckin dead. double days is gonna suck this year. is it just out here or does it always seem to get hotter once conditioning and double days roll around

Haha its true devo.. There's always a heat wave around double days.. Its either heat wave or it just seems hotter cuz u are working out on the field or in the weightroom for 5+ hours a day.

lol that s*** really pisses me off though! like all last week it was perfect california weather(which is sunshine and around 70 degrees for those who dont know) and all of a sudden today its 95 fuckin degrees outside! and i always get sick when i first start running in the heat so now im feelin like s***

Haha yea when I played we had to run 5miles every day before the weight room and inbetween running and weight lifting half of the team was scattered on the baseball field throwing up.. Haha I'm so glad I'm done with all that! It was fun at times but only doin it to stay in baseball shape took most of the fun out of football for me..

damn 5 miles in that fresno heat? i woulda threw up too!

Yea it was pretty bad! At the same time though I was in the best shape I've ever been in when I was playing football.. We pretty much did the same daily running as the cross country team... We had to have stamina cuz our team was terrible and we were short handed most of us played both ways.. It wasn't fun being on a shitty team but our baseball team was so good that I didn't care about football... My baseball coach was always on me to just stay in shape and the easiest way was playing football.. He was right football training was an easy way to stay in shape!!

WOW 5 miles would kill me lol. I can barely do the gassers and sprints we gotta do.

Haha yea it was hell!! Try running 5 miles every day in 100+ degree weather.. Its retarded but just like everything else u get used to it... I would rather run 5 more miles at the end of practice then some of the other s*** we had to do...

We do the same s*** every day its getting real old. 7 days down. 3 to go though!! My body is worn out tho

I believe it! When I would get done with two a days I'd pass out as soon as I took a shower when I got home.. I was done after the 2nd day..

yea man. After i get out of practice i take a shower, eat, get on the computer for 10 mins or so then go to bed and rest for 5 hours then i go back to practice.

now im happy that it aint very hot in minnesota. cuz in i couldnt do nothin in 100 degrees and football pads

Yea just wearing shoulder pads in 80 degrees will make u sweat its pretty bad at first practicing with full contact but u get used to it... U gota stay hydrated all day cuz u sweat ur balls off more then u can imagine..

Its been raining alot too here so u gotta add the humidity factor. Sucks nuts.

Yea it doesn't rain here at all! We barely get rain during the winter fresno is right in the middle of cali.. It used to be considered a desert.. Its just hot as **** here.. Humidity sux too though, living in boston for a few years it was humid as **** sometimes but I think I'd rather deal with humidity then pure heat but its close.. They both suck ass.

we do our 2 a days in 110 + weather so yea be fortunate

since we are talking about 2 a days, has anyone ever seen that show?

Yea that show was dope while it was on.. I used to watch it all the time..

i thought it was kind of stupid. They showed more of their personal lives than they did actual football.

Yea they coulda showed a lot more football but it was mtv what do u expect? It was just cool cuz that team ended up playing my brothers team the next year I forgot what it was for but my brother is part of the clovis east staff and clovis is a bordering city with fresno but they flew to go play them and ended up playin a good game.. I think my bros team lost 24-20..

tell me about it man monday was hot like a ****** ! it was 97 degrees .

we got two weeks of doubledays it sucks man , first week is just basically more weight lifting conditioning and then next week we put on the pads its crazy how hot it gets tho and you know how yb field is turf haha omg it heats up .

Yea man turfs gana be smoking. Good luck with that. I got 2 days left of double days then im dooooone.

7-10special teams, 10:30-12team D 12.30-2:30team O then yeah it sucks but we have a easy schedule this year so there gettin us ready for the play offs and do any of yall have to run gassers? we do like 3-4 after each team
