3-3-5 def. is it good or not .

is this a good base d or not wondering if any of u have HAD SUCCESS WITH IT

I wouldn't use it as a base D, but I use it a lot in passing situations like on 3rd and 10.

it can be a good base defense if u have great stick skills but be aware heavy runners could move the ball on you...i use the 335 alot in game specially in passing situations caus of the coverage...it is the only formation i feel comfortable callin cover 2 in outside of the 15 yardline.

i wouldnt use it as a base D either.. i only used a couple blitzs out of it and cover 3 out of it to stop the RC or HB circle.

if you use the 3-3-5 playbook then its hella good. 3-3-5 bear is their to stop the running game, then you have 3-3-5 across to slow down the passing game.

the 3-3-5 cover 3 is the zone i pretty much only use in that formation, i sometimes use the corner blitz..but as a base, i highly doubt it

if i seen u in a 3-3-5 all game..i would run on u every down, dont care who u blitz...

well i use it but it has 3-4 in it and 5-2 i come out in those sets first to counter the run but its a good blitz playbook and can be affective against pass with its dynamic zone coverages you just have to feel for when your opponent might run

i use it its real good for people who run alot of option like in the flexbone or even roll out alot because it brings alot of outside pressure

its good for stopping running plays

Yes, it is an excellent base defense. I see alot of poundage playing teams like Alabama, Georgia Tech, Ohio State and this defense has been very good for me. I have been running it for a while though. No, that does not make me better, it just helps because I understand the concepts in each defense because I have spent quite a bit of time on it. Can't believe nobody has mentioned STORM RED! Talk about stopping the run, and middle blitz? AWESOME. COV2 MLB SPY IS MY BASE, from there, I can playmaker my defense to whatever I need fit. Outstanding vs pass, great ve scramblers with the spy, great vs run with corner support.

LB ram dogs is a great play, in previous years you could run this every down and just switch what the linebackers were going to do, it would work almost everytime. But this year the play is only for surprise moments, like on 3rd down when a person is totally in their "Down 10, going to throw every down now mentality" you just hit them really quick with a all out blitz by the linebackers but still have man coverage. this is in the 3-3-5 set up btw.

yea the 3-3-5 is a legit pb. its for fast defenses and the hawaii defense is all about speed so this makes it perfect for them

No Doubt the STACK can be used as Base. They use it real life, and I myself have been using it for 2 years now. Bear is a Bear vs run, and with proper hot routing can be just as good vs pass game.

Cover 2 MLB SPY is my base defense, it has been for 2 years now. Coverage is very good, and vs the run it is stout. I playmaker my defenders out of this look to exactly what I need at that particular time. Very flexible. I have always felt that a defense with blanket coverage like this one is good to come out in and then build your blitz schemes from there. This way you don't sacrifice coveage when stunting.

We have 14 teams in our Dynasty, 10 of those teams use the 3-3-5 Stack as their base. Outstanding defense vs both run and pass. This defense was implemented to attack spread teams both run and pass. I use the "EDGE BLITZ CONCEPT" quite a bit out of this look as well and the built in SPY with the LB aids against the cheesers. If I can help you in any way please do not hesitate to message me. What is the Edge Blitz Concept

Not a base defense. Basically a D to rely on for 3rd/4th passing downs, or against spread guys that use 4/5 wr all game.
