| Whats up fellas?I gotta say I love the site and it had helped my game alot.I do have a question though.Can anyone give me any tips on how to read coverage?I put a man in motion to see if its man or zone,but any tips on cover 2 from 3 after the snap.I labbed plays against both and its helped some,but if anybody had any input i would appreciate it.Thanx.. | |

| You can tell it's a Cover 3 before you hike the ball by looking if one of the two safeties moves up towards the line | |

| watching what the safties do "after the snap" can also tell you what coverage the defense is in. once you snap the ball....if they spread out...it is cover 2. if they do what DC said....then it is cover 3. and if both safeties drop straight back..it is cover 4. | |

| OK.I got it.Now,what are good routes to beat each coverage.I've gathered from multiple posts on here that streaks down the seam with either the TE or RB can beat Cover 2. What else does and what routes best beat Cover 3? | |

| the thing is, it depends on ur coverage. cuz some ppl like to disguise the coverage by hitting man align, allowing the 2 safeties to stay back, giving you the impression that it's cover 2. Watch out for that, and if yu wanna break it down, put a TE on a streak, and your #1 or #2 WR on outside slants. | |

| Easiest thing to do is have routes that beat every zone/man. Mix your routes and you wont have a hard time moving the ball. | |
