| how do YOU use it?
on any dive play, or any run up the middle, i use aggressive
on tosses/sweeps/pitches, i slide protect to the opposite side im running to (works well)
on counters i slide protect towards the direction im running, but i dont recommend this unless you can read the defense because certain blitzes can blow your play up in the backfield
i dont ever slide protect on passing plays unless i see the blitz coming from the outside
i NEVER use pinch, and im really interested in when this is best used.

| I use it nearly every play in the running game but almost never in the passing game. For inside runs I almost always slide to the opposite side of the run. I find that it pushes the opposing front 7 in a way that creates holes. | |

on any dive play, or any run up the middle, i use aggressive on dives or any type of run up to middle you want to use pinch...this make the blockers not allow anyone blitz up the middle and gives you huge yards if they are in fact blitzing in the middle. It works perfectly in goaline situations. hb slam goaline pinch you should score

| i use pinch in the redzone like on goaline it prevents them from getting in the backfield and when i run PA i do it either left or right especially when i run PA Deep Attack I slide protect left so lineback cant come of the corner and sack me | |

| i use it on all my runs. something else i like to do....is to slide protect in (pinch) during some PAs. for some odd reason....on certain formation with the PA....when the O-line is pinched in to block the middle....they actually give Flacco a little more time to finish his PA animation and to make a clean throw. | |

yeah i noticed it helps against a little against nano blitzers. And pinching usually seems to give u that extra split second you need on a PA pass to get it off clean like u said militant
