| The Raiders have agreed to terms with cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha on a $45.3 million, three-year contract that will make him the highest-paid defensive back in NFL history. Sources claim that Asomugha is guaranteed $28.5 million, and that the deal features a provision in which the entire contract can be guaranteed if the Raiders decide to keep the 27-year-old for the third season. | Nnamdi is a "pure" shutdown cornerback. so....the Raiders have FINALLY done something right by giving him this contract in comparison to the other DBs in the game today. | |

| i know he's the best and all but i think that with all the needs the raiders have they shoulda tried to save some of their money | |

| Yeah he is a really good player, I would have liked to see him move on to another team the Raiders aren't going anywhere and I think he deserves to be on a better team. | |

| Yeah they need to worry about that offense next year, they are going to need to pick up some good free agents or draft some good players cuz this team isnt going no where. | |
