WATS THE BIG DEAL WITH.....

whats the big deal with ppl using a running back as the fullback? i kno its more speed on the field and speed kills but at the same time tell me wat teams have u seen use that in the NFL...i can think of 1 team doin it in 1 game but wat do u all think of this...i think that it is cheap caus u dnt see that at all in real football.

I'm not a big fan of it...felix and marion barber?!?! LT and Sproles?!?! I've faced it a few times and it sucks...

For me though, I like to keep it straight with Selvin Young in the backfield and Peyton Hillis as FB...

I only use the 2 RB's if im using the Raiders (McFadden and Bush) or Bills (Lynch and Jackson), since the bills dont have a good FB.

i kno what ur gettin at but .. u gotta understand that its madden for video games.... u gotta do what it takes to stay a step of every1 else

Well if someone uses fb dives and hb tosses out of the same formations its kinda hard to stop.

its very hard to stop...i didnt make this thread to complain..i was jus wondering like is that the new thing ta do since 09 is all about short s*** and the possession game everyone uses the fb dive and to have someone like a felix or sproils in there where 2 steps is 3 yrds even more if they break tackles or find the whole i mean it is hard to stop...i dont kno...jus cant make myself do it

The Bucs used Ernest Grahm as FB and would have kept using him at FB until he got injured. He played that way for a good part of the season.

yeah agreed...the cowboys where the only team in the league i saw use this and it was barber at FB and they jus ran that dive with him but nobody since has used it and dallas only used it on 1 game

Oh and the Dolphins do use it quite a bit with Williams and Brown

but i remember that was the tip i got on the blockbuster case that held my copy of Madden. it said for extra speed or surprise or some s*** like that, put your HB in your FB position.

LOL, I m not gonna lie, I do this all the time.... But if the opponent is worthy they will stop it... I have been stopped doing this sop many times.. Sorry guys

well um the ravens use leron mclain has a hb so in the roster update he was switched to hb and is on the depth chart as the number one fullback but i dont really run him as the fullback i do like they do and use the jumbo package i run the fb dive maybe 3-5 times a game tho..when i first started online i started using ray rice as fullback cause it was done to me but that was before i knew how it was

i use it all the time too. it doesnt matter to me about blocking cuz most the time im outa the gun and my rbs dont usually block i have them running routes.

i have no problem with some cat that uses his HB as a FB. i don't do it when i run my Ravens. but.....some HBs in the game can actually go both ways. Fred Taylor of the Jags is one of those examples. when i run the Jags....i use Taylor as the FB and MJD as the HB. they are a two-headed freak in the backfield that gives defenses fits.

Did you really just say the NFL is a simulation of the NFL?

It is a cheap tactic plain and simple. If you use it then you are a gimmick player and shouldn't play in a sim style game.

Sim is short for simulation, or, fake but seems real...
