nickel normal - run D

hows it going everyone, well ive really enjoyed running the nickel normal formation here lately, but it seems that i can never slow down the run with it. does anyone know any good plays out of the nickel normal that can stop the run? thanks for the help

ye its a pass formation

u can try run commit when u kno the run is coming

or stunt your line or send blitz or nanos

i just go SS zone blitz
-show blitz
-pinch LB's
-Pinch line
-Y+ R-stick up
tthen i always user my FS when i play so he can help in the run as well

its not just a pass formation. what you gonna do when you use it and then someone runs a draw outta a spread or bunch set. just the same as if you are running the 46, you are gonna need to know how to stop the pass out of it too.

sometimes i might come out in something like cover 3 and blitz a guy in the flats and come around the corner if they like to toss to the hb
