Best coin toss strategy

It doesn't matter if I win the toss or loss the toss I usually pick to defend against the wind if the wind is over 5mph so I am kicking with the wind in the 2nd and 4th quarter for a last second field goal. If under 5mph winds I usually pick to kick.

I always go with kick, Its always nice to start with a 3/out plus even if you end the 1st half down 14-0 you know you can get back in it in the 2nd half.

kicking is always better, because if you get a turnover, you can hold the ball and try to put points on the board, then you get it back in the 2nd half.

I love to kick first because I know I will get the ball first in the 2nd Half.

it doesn't matter to me if I kick first or not I just like the wind to my back in 2nd and 4th quarter so I can make the longer kicks as time runs out.....I have already made a 61 yard kick at the end of the half

i always kick too but ive been thiking about starting to take the wind to my advantage since everyone kicks and ill just have to get used to recieving first.

i alwyas kick so i can have bll in the second half.

usually if I receive first I score on my first drive and I usually don't play great D until the second half anyways

if they would add say like.....3 more minutes to make the quarters 7min long, i would always recieve it 1st

it's best to receive the ball in the 2nd half either way. If youre in the lead, you get the ball and can controll the game/clock. if youre down at halftime, you need the ball to start the 2nd half. If the wind isn't too strong either way, i always choose to kick it.

i like recieving just so i can get an early lead..most dudes get if they have to play catch up

If I lose i defend against the wind

always nice to score before halftime and then get the ball back

I have to completely disagree with you there, when this happens people pannick quickly because they CHOOSE to not because they have to. Even a 5 minute TD drive for my opponent to start the game does not immediately change the way I play. Yesterday I was down in a game 10-0 at the half, ran my NORMAL OFFENSE to score on a 4 minute TD drive, induced an INT, scored again with 3 minutes left and held him to win the game. In my opinion as long as it is a 2 score game there is no reason to start pannicking until at least a little ways into the 4th quarter.

yea best option is kick because even if u turn it over u get ball rite back, and sumtimes wen neither person can stop eachother u may get a TD before half to tie it up then you get ball back at start of the 3rd and ur in position to take the lead!

i agree, staying focused is what makes a good madden player. But i cant deny the fact it certainly changes the mood of the game, for me at least lol. Pisses me off when someone drives right down the field and puts up 7 on the opening drive.

about the wind direction cos ull never know wen that wind is gona win u
the game especially if ur playing with the best fg kicker in the game
he can kick from the 42 yardline with a wind of about 9km/h

You see that doesn't bother me a whole lot because I've just seen a good smattering of their offensive gameplan, now I can relax and go on my own drive also knowing that I will be getting the ball to start the 3rd. I don't drive any differently if I receive to start the game or if I give up a TD and then get the ball.

i use to always pick kick before when everyone else use to receive especially offline because then possesions advantage you. But this year, especially online, i receive because i feel if you score on your first drive you can get alot of momentum and the other person feels rushed because they're down. Most people do not have the patience to have a long drive when they are down
