spectacular catch

can someone please explain how to do the spectacular (aka jump user catch) catch..........

i hit circle to lock on to the wr, then hit triangle but all he does is stick his hands out to catch, i can't get him to jump..............

any help is appreciated

You want to bullet the pass don't pass lead...

then either under cut the ball while holding Triangle (I find it helps to tap strafe)

or come at it from the outside and tap Triangle

if your gonna cut inside then throw the football up and inward.

same thing for the other way

spectacular catching on this game is stupid easy. if only i could get it on madden.

practice it for madden it is a lot harder than in ncaa 08.

to do the spectuclar catch just bullet it and u have to time it and make sure u only tape the button and it is easier if u go from the outside in
