When did you start playing Madden?

started playin back in the sega days but started takinm it serious in 06

I started with madden03 online - When rank actually mattered and meant something

Ive been playing since 01-02 but just got serious recently with this years edition.

Madden 06.
I became very good starting in 08 and now I'm pretty beast in 09

bought the game last year... didnt really play it dat much

started playin it more serious dis year

i got into madden last year, but before i just played here and there at my friends

since 2000 (as a kid)

had great skills at
2006 madden (ps2)
and now 2009 (ps3)

PLayed 99 wen i was 10..then played 2002 on ps2 and so on

Ive been playing Madden since 2001 with Eddie George on the Cover, but started getting serious in 08.

dam my first game was against a school buddie back in 2001 i think my mate use to pick the packers he always use to throw the hb screen to ahmed green those were the days wea u didnt need to speed burst all u needed to do was just change direction and watch ur opponent flying in for the tackle and miss big time lol, but i was only a part timer i only played when i was at his house ,then i got into it on 2006-2007 against my rival buddy who always use to pick the falcons and rushed wit michael vick all the time lol,which i couldnt stop lol, then madden 2008 was the first madden edition i bought played over 500 games against the computer lol then i was introduced to online play jus b4 madden09 come out ,,i hated playing 2008 online there was alot of bulshit in that , then came 09 im a beast hahahahahahaha but yeh first game was 2001

I played them all on the console versions dating back to 1990.One of my favorite versions which, was developed by Visual Concepts (2K series developers)..Madden 94. Anyone remember when New Jersey had a team? (New Jersey Jets in Madden 92).

My first Madden was Madden 2000 for PC. I thought it was so ill back then...I tried playing it a few years ago and it was just...I couldn't handle it. I still have the opening theme song memorized though: "Awwww get out my way and watch out as I come throuuuuuugh. Bustin through your lines crackin' helmets in twoooooo"

I didn't play another Madden till 2005 when I got a ps2. I played that game SO MUCH. It was literally the most fun I ever had playing a game. Franchise mode was just my domain. I've never enjoyed a game more.

Took a break at 06 cause I didn't have a 360. Then got a 360 and played 07, but I wasn't like competitive...Didn't know about madden sites or anything.

Then I got 08 and I started finding out about sites and got my game up and now in '09 I'm the best I've ever been, and still improving.

Lol i was poor so when my dad had first bought madden for me in 97 that was da only game i had a choice to play, but this is the first year of madden that i took seriously, like online plays an money games
