| i just spent the last 2hrs intensely going through 2 playbooks and their "packages." i saw some very interesting set ups that could be used in a game. how important is packaging to you guys? and....how often do you use packages and for what scenarios in a game? | |

| packages are huge... either to help outnumber... out strengthen... or as a decoy to outsmart them...
i know in NCAA you can almost dictate the defense that you will see by swapping around packages... and while its been a while since ive played madden... im sure its the same there...
it forces the other guy to either call what he sees or take a gamble... and get burnt...

| yeah, there are a few that I use the most: WR Swap (to exploit the weak corner), Stack Strong, and Strong Slot. Also in a few split back formations (especially Gun 2RB 3WR) I like to use Dual HB most of the time. | |

| On Defense I have to use packages because if I don't it will but crappy Stephen Tulloch in the Dime and Nickel instead of Keith Bulluck for whatever reason. | |

| Another good package on offense is heavy for short yardage runs. Puts lineman for tight ends. | |

| back up QB
gives me a lil Dennis Dixon to mix in with Big Ben
also TE WR sometimes cause Heath miller is a beast
