The 46 Normal defensive formation provides one of the most balanced looks in the game when attempting to stop both the run and the pass. In this tip, SportsGamer's going to reveal and easy way to create consistent B-gap pressure using any play from this formation. What we like about this blitz is that you can use any two linebackers to create the pressure with. The play that we'll be using in the first example that we show is the 46 Normal LB Contain. When we're done with the entire setup process this play will have become a five man pass rush that is ready to bring the heat on your opponent. Check it out below!
Quick Setup Step 1 - Hot route the defensive tackle and defensive end to blitz straight down (360 - Move icon onto player, then A + flick right analog stick down / PS3 - Move icon onto player, then X + flick right analog stick down).
Step 2 - Hot route any linebacker to blitz straight down and manually move him a few yards off the line of scrimmage and between the tackle and the end (360 - Move icon onto player, then A + flick right analog stick down / PS3 - Move icon onto player, then X + flick right analog stick down).
Step 3 - Hot route any other linebacker to blitz straight down and manually move him to the outside of the defensive end (360 - Move icon onto player, then A + flick right analog stick down / PS3 - Move icon onto player, then X + flick right analog stick down).
Step 4 - (optional) Hot route the two remaining members of the defensive line to perform any other assignments that you wish.
