Best secondary in the NFL?

Asante is a product of NE's defense. he's not a real shut down corner. i don't care who you have in the secondary, if you can't rush the QB, you will lose. the best secondary will be the team that is near the top in sacks.....or has a weak run defense in which the offense won't pass and just run. you also need to look at what type offenses these teams play in their divisions. Raiders run D sucks but they face LT and LJ twice each. Denver is always a solid run team too, so the numbers are skewed.


Eagles will face the Cowboys, Giants, Redskins and they all pass very well. i have a hard time believing Philly will have the best secondary unless they can keep getting pressure on the QB.

Dude im a pats fan and you cant even mention their name when it comes to secondarys right now was it not ellis hobbs who gave up the game winning td ? or was it not rodney harrison letting david tyree jump over him? and it also doesnt help that we lost samuel so we did go 18 and 1 because of somthing the secondary sucks and this is a true pats fan talking

By the way, the Eagles have one of the NFLs best blitz packages which result in a high amount of turnovers

Wrong, Fabian Washington went to the Ravens. And the best secondary is the Eagles. I would put their top three corners against anyone. I can't stand Assante Samuel, but him Lito, Sheldon Brown? That is trouble. Also, Dawk still got it @ FS. Roy Williams is always one playaction pass away from a 50yd TD. WE don't know how Adam Jones will come back after not playing for a year. It is crazy to think he will seem like he didn't miss a beat. I do expect him to start getting it going by like week 4 or sometime into the season.

A. Jones, well be comback player of the year " Deon Sanders " said so and the cowboys are going to the superbowl. The only thing stopping them is if Romo or one of the CB's go down Jones and newman can play "man" all game and if the rookie Jenkins has to he'll play the slot and do decent job at that along with nickel and dime formation and A, Henry won't be falling for the playaction if he's a SS and thats were he'll be playing if R. Williams starts to struggle "again" this year. K. Hamlin well rome the Field this year with big hits and heaven for bid if Roy gets to start roaming, it could be " lights out " for some poor WR or RB.
