RROD!!!

I've never had the problem with mine so ima keep my fingers crossed so it don't happen,if it does tho i'll just have to buy another 360 tho soo oh well if it's gonna happen it will

What! just buy another 360... why not just play b3yond and have a reliable system. I mean "WTF" if you just say thats all right microsoft... I'll spend $200-300 more on your "DEFECTIVE" system. I mean.. I had a 360 but 4 RROD and 1 disc drive failure later and I said enough is enough. I enjoyed my 360 when it was "working" don't get me wrong but a defective product is not "acceptable" and until the new 360 slim hits late in 09 thats all your going to have is a "defective" product... then you'll have to spend another $400 on a slim when your warranty runs out. I mean look at the money you have wasted... and you have to pay to play online... MS is just bending all the loyal 360 players over and giving them a good dry F$$K... but to each ther own .

I must not have a defective one,cause mine has always worked and it's rollin stock,and i do have a ps3 but i don't like it,i got the ps3 the day it came out,and have playd it a total of 4 times,it's in the box in my closet right now,i used to be a loyal sony customer untill the ps3 came out and after i got it was disappointed,and like i said i haven't had no problems with my 360 since i've had it which has been like a year and a half now,so i got my use out of it if it breaks i'll most likely buy a new one cause i just prefer it over the ps3,i'llhave to wait until the ps4 comes out hoepfully that can convert me bak...but it's not alright to sell a defective product i agree but like i have said i haven't had no problems out of my 360

I "hope" your 360 continues to run smooth for you and you never have to face the dreaded "RROD".
Just remember to stand it up "vertically" so the system can get the best air flow and can stay as cool as possible.... and if you have had it a 1yr and 1/2 with no problems than you have beat the sa tickets of Microsoft's "ASTOUNDING" 71% system failure rate with the 360.

PS! If your not going to even use that ps3 and your just going to wait on the ps4... which in my opinion is still like 5-7 yrs away and you want to unload it... hit me up with a PM and let me know which model you have... if it's the 60gig that was sold at launch? I'm defiantly interested in buying it.

thanks for the sweet video i actually needed the names of all the parts needed for the x clamp fix. something i havent seen mentioned is how you can get your 360 with rrod to tell you what is wrong.

this is a very simple process and all it involves is holding down the sensor button for controllers etc on the box itself, then you tap the eject button on the cd drive. the first click the rings will change this is how you read the codes.

4 = 0
1 = 1
2 = 2
3 = 3


here is a site that will tell you what these error codes mean ( some are still unknown but it is unlikely anyone will get those because they are rare). btw it is a 4 digit code and when it is finished it goes back to the original 3 blinking rings everyone is so used too.

i will let you guys know how my own fix is going as i got error code 0110, which is apparently a cold solder joint on the ram. I am not a solder expert so i am really hoping that if i just do the x clamp fix with the better bolts the solder joint will magically be fixed =).

i have already re applied thermal compound to the gpu and cpu, which btw im pretty sure the guy in the video knew what the gpu was but he pointed to the heatsink and called it the gpu when it is actually under the heatsink. (its a tiny little chip and microsoft decided to use garbage ass compound when they made their systems to **** us over even more)

also since i already have a wall of text i figured i would add that i am willing to buy anyone rrod xbox if you will let me know what error code you have, if you have ever tryed to fix it yourself, or any other important information. i am goign to try to start repairing these as a source of income in the future and would greatly appreciate anyone willing to sell me their microshit box for a reasonable price.
