RROD!!!

Has you 360 RROD on you?
If so, how many times, Is this your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time.
How long did it take for your 360 to RROD form the time you purchase the console
If you got a refurbished or a new one (supposeably) back from MS and it RROD on you, how long did that take B4 it did.
How long did it take MS to get your 360 back to you so you could game agine ( 5,6 or 8 weeks ).

I got my first 360 in April of 07. It redlighted that summer. It took one month from the day it redlighted to the day I got my new one in the mail. They sent me a new 360.

I just had it redlight recently and it took 1 month, but they just "repaired" my xbox. But I have good reason to believe they gave me a new one instead of "repairing" my box like they said.

I have had to get my 360 repaired 4 times... luckily I have an extra.

Whats is the good reason you believe they sent you a new 360 instead of repairing your old one?

I feel your pain, I have had my 360 repaired 5 times and I have never received a new 360 always a refurbished system. I'm currently waiting for my 360 to get back from MS again because of a RROD and it probably well be a another refurbished unit.

The RROD happened to me twice both times it took about a year for it to happen. The first time I got a refurbed system, the most recent one they just fixed my box.

amazingly i had my xbox since about two months after it came out and i
never had any problems with it i just got live about 3 months ago tho

You have the holy grail of 360's, just keep doing what ever it is your doing and send MS a note 2 let them know that there is a launched xbox 360 that hasn't RROD, they'll B as shocked as we R

how long doesn it take

Mine has died twice, the first took about 3 weeks to get back. The last time took about 2 weeks. Each time they last for about 1 and 1/2 years each.

I purchased mine back in august when madden 08 came out. wanted to upgrade from cg. bought a intercooler for it in december. it has been almost 8 months and no rrod. AHH-MAZING considering how fast yalls took a crap. Lmao

AHH! cooler means better and maybe a longer life for the 360, keep us up to date w/ 360 and hours played a week, most PPL have stayed away from the intercoolers, because when you add the intercooler to your system, it voids your manufacturers warranty, but how would they MS find out anyway right.

Mine has rrod 1 time i got it back in 11 days,with new hardware inside. The 65mn chip and cooling system!

Thx's for the info TB, that was a quick process and few days of TSB to pass the time, keeps us posted on the life of the 65mn chip.

I FIXED IT !!!!!!!! i just turned it off put two fans on it and waited a half hour now it works

Yeah! good job... but its not going to last... once the hardware heats up once, its going to happen again... the 45mm chip will need to be replaced with the 65mm chip and that will need to be replaced in the near future, because the mother board has a design flaw and we haven't got to the disc drive failure yet and so on..... you might want to ck this link out. http://xbox360redlighterror.blogspot.com/
