As of late, I have been watching alot of youtube videos with people making claims in boxing, and other sports as if they were FACT. Now I'm about to seperate fact and fiction once and for all..And I will do my best to touch down on every sport there have been heated debates between the people, as well as between the so called analysts battling it out on tv.
Fact: Roy Jones was the same fighter he was when he lost weight to fight Tarver the first time up. He had won the heavyweight crown against John Ruiz back in April of 2003. Then he had to lose weight to fight Tarver the first time in November 2003...
Fiction: In reality, Roy Jones had a total of 7 months to lose 18 pounds to fight Tarver the first time. Roy Jones wasn't worn down from the weight loss or anything. Therefore, the theory of weight loss is out the window officially.
Fact: The Oakland Raiders will probably make another crazy first round pick this year. You can look at their history since they have been losing, and a majority of the 1st round picks haven't panned out yet. The only one pick that panned out from the first round was Nnamdi back in the 2003 draft.
Fiction: Just because Brandon Marshall left Denver, and San Diego is getting a little weaker I feel, doesn't mean that my Oakland Raiders will be on top of the division. Oakland has a while to go before they can win alot more games...
Fact: Floyd Mayweather is a big time hypocrite. He's screaming for drug test and more drug tests for certain fighters, but he is the one using xylocaine for his hands. And if you research that, it is totally unfair to use xylocaine for your hands. HBO Sports aired a special about Boxers and their hands a while back. Look it up.
Fiction: Floyd Mayweather is the best?? No, he is not. To be the best, you have to BEAT the best..Floyd says he is the GOAT because he is still undefeated. That little ignorant bastard is saying he is better then Ali, who is the real GOAT of boxing. Ali has 5 losses on his record..Tell me, is Floyd really better then Ali?? Just because you are 40-0 doesn't mean you are the greatest. I could go 40-0 any day by acting like Ike Turner on some females...
Fact: David Ortiz is struggling badly, so I've heard. But hasn't he came thorugh in some clutch situations? Didn't he rebound from his slump before? Yes, he has. I feel Big Papi will come through for the Sox eventually.
Fiction: Suggesting Big Papi is done, is crazy..There are still alot of games in baseball to be played before you can say Big Papi is finished.
Fact: The Jets has had an excellent offseason so far, and the upside looks great for them.
Fiction: The Jets winning the superbowl this year..You can't say the Jets will win it all just because they had an great offseason...The 2010 season hasn't started yet. Its too early to say the Jets will win it all.
Fact: Anderson Silva needs to be taught some manners by somebody. His b.s. performance against that nobody made me lose alot of respect for him. Dana White said he will fire Anderson Silva if he pulls another stunt like that.
Fiction: Anderson Silva is the best MMA fighter. He isn't the best yet. But he is up there. Hell, I feel Fedor is the best MMA fighter around, and many others believe it too..It is tragic to see that Fedor isn't in the UFC yet. It's his fault and Dana's fault, Fedor isn't in the UFC right now.
Fact: Big Ben has alot of issues right now. And I feel its fair to PUNISH him, so he can learn from his mistakes and to be a better person when he is out partying and all on his off time.
Fiction: Big Ben is the best QB in the NFL. No he isn't..I hear alot of crazy people say he is, especially the steeler fans. Just because he got 2 superbowl wins, doesn't mean he is the best. Hell, Marino had no superbowl rings, but he is the superior QB against Ben.
Fact: Tiger Woods isn't the same person anymore. All that blown up coverage on his personal life really got to him. Will it affect him in the long run? Maybe. Only time will tell on that
Fiction: Tiger Woods is a changed man. Nope. Too early to say that...And it's funny to say he has changed, but yet, he still acts like his snobby self, cussing his ass off during the masters.
Fact: Mel Kiper is so full of $h!t, it's sad. He has predicted alot of guys to be successful, but yet, they can't hack it in the NFL.
Fiction: Mel Kiper is the best draft analyst. Are you serious? He's a douchebag with a chin. If Kiper is so correct, then Jamarcus Russell wouldn't be a failure, now would he? And there are so many other picks he has been wrong about.
Fact: If you want to determine who is better between Lebron and Kobe, then get a 1 on 1 game hyped up, and let them battle it out old school...
Fiction: Lebron is the number 2, Kobe is the number 1..You can't really say either is better then each other because of all this crap, people and analysts throw into it, like Kobe has more titles then Lebron and so forth...Let me ask you guys this. Troy Aikman has more titles then Peyton Manning...Is Troy Aikman better then Peyton?? Bottom line, I want Lebron and Kobe to play each other 1 on 1. Too bad, it won't happen..
