Madden Guru's Mini 34 Stack Defensive Guide

If you want a breakdown from any other formation just ask. I mite make a 1-5-5 guide if your interested.

Formation Info:

Okay this is not my favorite formation but here I go. The formation is a really great run/short pass defense.

Blitz Plays:

3-4 Stack Cover 3:

1- Shift the linemen left.
2- Spread the LB 'S and blitz the ROLB. ( Left on screen )
3- FYI ( he should be next to the DE but if not place him there )

3-4 Stack Strong Snake:

1- Shift the linemen left.
2- Place blitzing LB in back of DT ( Left on screen )
3- Place blitzing SS between DT and LE. ( Right on screen )

3-4 Stack: Hog Buck 3:

1- Blitz LOLB ( Right on screen )
2- Take the blitzing MLB and place him next to the LE ( Right on screen )

3-4 Stack OLB Fire Man

1- Re- Blitz LOLB: ( Right on screen )
2- Take the Blitzing LB place him over the RT
3- Re- Blitz LE
4- Put other blitzing OLB in a deep blue zone.

3-4 Stack Cover 3:

1- Show Blitz
2- Blitz LOLB ( right on screen )
3- Shift DL right.
4- Take your safety blitz him, and place him place him between the LOLB and LE.

im not trying to be a dick but 360 madden has already posted a lot of these plays.. how about u put up 155 not much 155 tips on this site.

34 is decent formation great to turbo blitz lbs

wat u could do is audlible down from dollar..

then u can have 2 lbs and 2 cbs...faster team and still have decent nanos..

im assuming you meant pretty "well" known plays.. yes, they are well known.. however, it is not well known on how to actually run the 155 in multiple situations. most people use it for the nanos and fag ds...

heres a few quick ones for yalls, i dont got much time to acutally write all the ones i used..

155=-cover 2 sink

1. press coverage and flip play
2. universal blitz all LBs
3. pinch LBs
4. show blitz (keep doing this so players move around like crazy, heat will be almost instant)


note: try putting the outside lbs into combos of spy and contain for mixed results)



---mix that up with this---


155- cover 3

1. universal blitz all LBs
2. pinch LBs and show blitz
3. put FS (at the top) in spy


----and also this----


155. cover 3

1. universal drop LBs into coverage
2. put the 2 inside LBs into purple zones
3. Put your DT in contain/spy (your choice)
4. spread coverage (y+up on the right stick i believe)
5. show blitz (over and over to look like heavy blitz from before)

these are the easiest ones i can remember... enjoy

look up over storm brave here or on youtube, thats the most well known 155 run stopper

It's in many pb. Like the jets and ravens... but almost every 3-4 team has this formation
