Philly 4 4 set up

I been using Philly lately. My NYJ D is NOT for them and Qb's break more sacks when they face 46 bear than other formations. My other d is Titans D.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to set up their depth chart?

this is B-__-R-__-B's philly setup i found in the forums

LE- juqua parker

RE- trent cole

DT's- broderick bunkley & mike patterson

LOLB- akeem jordan

MLB's- stewart bradley & jeremiah trotter

ROLB- will witherspoon

CB's- sheldon brown & asante samuel

FS- macho harris

who are the 3rd and 4th string cb's

yo thanks MVP for gettin that up for leway, for my 3rd and 4th CB's i got ellis and jose both 80+ in zone coverage rating, wich are perfect spell guys to keep sante and sheldon fresh, i do alot of rotating so this setup isnt a set thing that rides out throughout the whole game i do a ton of rotating.

yo brb isnt your 4-4 setup with fokou at lolb, jordan and witherspoon at mlb's, white at rolb, cb- smauel, hobbs,hanson FS- mikell, ss- brown? i read some thread with that as your setup im just making sure cause ive been using the one i just said and it works pretty well but i do get burned on the outside runs. is this one in this thread the actual one? thanks.

where did you read that? that for sure is not my setup, if i did post that i do apologize your deffinetly gonna run into some problems rollin with that setup, fokou and tracey are nice spell men but not good starters, and there is no SS in the 4-4 so im a little confused there, now i have 3 main 4-4 packages, the philly split 4-2-5 package, the philly split normal package, and the philly split monster package, all different and have different objectives, all the outside runs and stuff of that nature is IMO on the user as the single high saftey to come up and make a play on it, that IMO doesnt have to do with personal as much as gameplaning and blitz scheming.

my bad man haha. i also got a question, i know the a gap blitz where you just stack the ilb's but i can never get any actual outside heat like from the edges not a B gap or anything like that but off the edge cause i usually user my DE when hes wrapping around the tackles to get to the qb. thanks. btw parker is a beast if you just hit the right thumbstick to get past the oline tackle he gets right to the qb.

nah its all good man, parker is nice but abiamiri and clemons fit my scheme better cuz i drop my ends more than i actually bring them, and IMO if your gonna roll 4-4 you gott user the single high saftey, coverage is weak as it is so you gotta help out over the top and try to take the short to deep middle away as best you can, now i dont wanna give my shceme out cuz thats half the fun right? comming up with something all your own? but i will help you along, okay think of it like this, the gaurds and tackles are all taken up or covered up by lineman that leaves only the center to "FOOL" to get in, in most cases, outside heat is very easy to bring out of this formation cuz the alignment of the D-line makes it so the gaurd and tackle are covered up leaving the center to come from the middle of the line all the way out to defend the C gap, and lots of times the center just cant make that play, the key to the 4-4 is mixing up your looks dont do the same thing everytime even if it is working just to keep your OPP. on his toes, mix in man as well but if your gonna go man i would put mikell and demps at OLB so they can run with the slots or back. hope this helps you a little.
