| Could you guys help me with the rip/spin move using the defensive tackle.I know that if you have a guy with good strength you could push your way into the backfield by holding the button down, but my question is for a DT that is average about 90 str,84 acc,and 80 tkl should I hold the button down at the snap,or wait till snap and then use R1 or R2 or move left or right at the snap, cause seems like whatever I do the guy does the Dwight Frenney spin move LOL.Just trying to help contain inside runs while my Linebackers clean up,but seem like that Dam suction blocking has something to do with it also.I'm on PS2 so any help would be appreaciated. | |

| I generally dont use rip/spin moves because in my opinion, controlling the linebacker is a more effective way to stop the run. | |

| yea it is better to use the LB but when i do use the d line i rapidly tap the RB which is R2 in ps2 and it works really well for me im able to get to the qb in 2 seconds almost every time but thats just me but when ur in a running situation u should definetly try using the MLB | |

| If i use the defensive end i know you have about 3 seconds to throw the ball without getting sacked | |

| see i dont like using the defensive line because its so easy to pick apart the cpu on pass defense whereas if you control someone in the secondary and send a blitz, you have coverage as well as a rush. | |

| I usually control the DT on the right looking at the screen and i go directly at the guard holding x once they lock up I let go of x and then hit L1 or R1 for which ever way the running back goes. This works about 80% of the time and will keep the the DT from doing the spin and make him slide the OL out the way for you to make the tackle. | |

| Well if you controll the LB, you have control over run and pass defense. My main defense is a quarter and I am able to stop the run and pass from it by using a LB. | |
