| What has been the worst Trade or Release in NFL History?
I'd have to say the Chargers letting Brees Go or the Raiders only getting a 4th rd pick for moss

| They had to trade Moss and that was their best offer. He was being a distraction to the team and didnt help that no one threw towards him. Phillip Rivers for Eli Manning.... Sorry Chargers. | |

umm.... i do not believe that was a straight out trade. the chargers also recieved a few other picks. like the 12th overall pick in the next years draft. They used that pick to select Shawne Merriman. i think they also got a 3rd round pick but i don't know who they used the pick on. phillip rivers and shawne merriman and a 3rd round pick for eli manning. i think that trade worked out very well for both teams. it was no where near a bad move for either team. i would almost say the chargers got the better of the trade, but the giants won the superbowl with eli leading them, so you can't argue with results.

| i think wanna the craziest but a very god trade was the ladanian n mike vick trade. both were good trades cause both players were phenomenal. but obviously the chargers won there. | |

| Mike Dikta trading the Saints whole draft to move up and draft Ricky Williams. Either that or the Chargers drafting Ryan Leaf instead of Peyton Manning. | |

Phillip Rivers for Eli Manning.... Sorry Chargers. I agree! they had to trade R. Moss, he was rotting away in Oakland and after 2 years... year 05 year 06 recs 60 rec 42 td 8 td 3 his stats at that time showed he was on the decline and was hitting 30 yrs of age and not interested in playing at Oakland and a constant team distraction... they got what they could 4 him.

| The Faulk trade to the Colts would probably be considered even, the Colts drafted Edgerrin James with one of the picks they got, Colts were in no position to win and needed to get younger, Faulk fit in perfectly with the Rams. The worst trade all time has to be the Herschel Walker trade. The Vikings got Herschel and the Cowboys got 3 Super Bowls (I think the Boys got like 9 draft picks from the Vikings over the next few years). | |

| Hey, good point. Forgot about the Herschel trade. At least he was an esablished player at the time. Ricky Williams was a RB with a lot of tread on his tires. | |

| SOMETIMES I HAVE TO QUESTION YOUR FOOTBALL KNOWLEDGE. IT IS NEVER WORTH IT TO TRADE YOUR WHOLE DRAFT FOR ONE PLAYER. | |
