How do you stop Screens outa the 4-4

whats the best way to stop screens outta the 4-4... dont get me wrong i took a lot of screens to the crib from pick sixes with the 4-4 just buy putting d ends in contain and having the flats out there. But how do you stop screens when someone rolls back and out so they suck the contains in and then they hit the wide open screen up ? any answers

have you tried putting the DEs and OLB in flat zones? or maybe even man coverage. some screens eat up man coverage, but some get shut down by man coverage. i know FL screens work good against man, but putting a DE in a flat zone can shut that down.

my main defense against screens is just user coverage. i user a MLB, and screens are easy to read AFTER the snap, you just have to be looking. as soon as you see those lineman head towards the flats, turbo your guy towards the receiver, right into him, and you should get a tackle as soon as he touches the ball.
