WTF why doesn't any eagle fan like mcnabb.

my dad used to always bash mcnabb and i always defended him. he is definitely the best QB we've ever had. that said, i am starting to get sick of him choking when it's playoff time. i'd still give him a couple more years. the rest of the team is young and will benefit from his veteran presence.

McNabb should stay... You don't want to try out another QB when you have so many new starting players. Plus he's Reid's boy. I really don't see them going with Vick I think that was just a way to get McNabb playing better.By all mean he is still a decent QB not bad at all...

Seriously. Kolb had, what, 3 straight 300+ yard games when he was filling in for McNabb? That sounds pretty good to me. Kolb IS the future of the Philadelphia Eagles.

id say give mcnabb another year see how it works if not then i like seeing kolb as the starter

and hopefully kolb comes in prepared like aaron rodgers who is throwing up crazy numbers these days and the eagles young roster will be prime again for another playoff run .

Look, here is the bottom line. McNabb needs to go. 11 Years and we have nothing to show for it. Granted McNabb had a great career I am not taking anything away from what he has done. He had a great career in Philly and thats great. But heres the thing.. He is not what he used to be.. He doesn't run, he is in accurate and has been for 11 years. That has been one thing with McNabb that has been his Achilles heel. He misses open receivers that would have been HUGE plays. So to the people that are on here and say McNabb needs to stay don't see what us Philadelphians see. You guys see "Super 5" as ESPN has dubbed him. You see him hit the plays to Desean Jackson, Maclin, Celek, Westbrook. Everything.. you don't see the 10 passes he throws into the dirt every game. You don't see the wide open guys he misses 5 times a game.

As far as another quarterback, Kolb is the answer. Vick is good but will be better somewhere else. Though you people that sit here and laugh when we say Kolb will be the future.. I'll laugh when he has a Super Bowl ring before Schaub, Romo, Rodgers, Flacco, and Matt Ryan. Whether it be with the Eagles or not. That depends on if the Eagles decide to keep him after next year. If they don't.. it will be a very stupid decision on the Eagles part. Now when I say this you guys can bash me all you want. Though I am telling you Kolb will be a H.O.F. QB and he's going to prove when he's given the chance.. whether or not its with the Birds. I hope it is.. though the Eagles have made some dumb choices in the past. If the Eagles roll with McNabb next year.. I'll support them.. but I will not be a happy Eagles fan.. thats for sure. Thats my two cents.. And please if you are going to flame me.. make sure it's worth my time to read not..

It is not a matter of who you want or who you think or even if it is Reids boy.
After his poor performance, McNabb will have to compete for his job, bottom line.

Frankly, I think Kolb will win the starting job.

I'm sure the Browns or Raiders could use D Mac. Trade him while you can.

s*** people downplay HARD on Romo because he hasn't "done shit" in the what 4 years hes been starting for the Cowboys. McNabb has been there starting for over 11 years, I think it would be good to develop Kolb. I mean seriously, give Kolb a chance, see how he does. McNabb is not the future of the Eagles, HE WAS, but not anymore, he had his chances, many teams, with good Eagles teams.

Oh and not everything is blamed on McNabb, Eagles receivers like Djax and Maclin show their experience (or lack there of) dropping passes and running bad routes (although Djack usually is a great route runner). Eagles are young, experience is needed just like Romo and other Cowboys needed, I'd say give Kolb a try... or maybe Vick?? LOL... Eagles might have worked with Vick and Westbrook both in their prime

Man you would THINK he would have to compete for his job, that could be one of the problems right there, Reid might be too buddy buddy with McNabb. **** who knows but if I was Reid i'd be priming up Kolb or looking at some prospects for sure.

hey do any of you philadelphia fans know if MLB jeremiah trotter is going to be comming back next year??? he's hands down my favorite eagles linebacker of all time, although these new young guys akeem jordan, stewart bradley and moise fokou are growin on me. lol any info on trotters plans for next year would be greatly appreciated! GO EAGLES!!!

IDK, Peppers as of late seems like a huge attitude problem. He only plays hard when he wants to.

The reason why i say you eagle fans are the worst is because you guys CONTINUESLY throw mcnabb under the bus for EVERYTHING. if the eagles don't win 12 games its mcnabbs fault, if your defense allows 20+ points in one game its mcnabbs fault. if the wr's drop 10 plus balls a game its his fault. have you guys ever thought it just might not be his fault all the time? i mean, with out Mcnabb you guys wouldnt be half the team you are now, so i would give mcnabb some respect

i totally agree with you ive always liked mcnabb and believed in him, and agree that we wouldnt have made it to the play offs without him! kolb is good and up and comming and all but he is young! emphasis on young! i got faith in mcnabb and the eagles i dont blame the playoff loss on him or anyone, our o-line was a mess by seasons end and our backers were in the same situation but all teams have injuries and you cant use that as an excuse the team should be held accountable for the loss not mcnabb or ried or any 1 individual take wins as a team and losses as a team cuz its a TEAM sport.

without mcnabb the eagles probably wouldn't win 6 games.

you really think kolb will get the job over mcnabb??? he's only had two good game? i really dont think you can say that he's gonna get the job based on two good games. he's up and comming yes and he's gonna be good when its his time but i still dont think he'll be the starter and as for mcnabbs performance the O-line didnt help out too much and we all have to admit the cowboys defense was playinlights out that game they were simply better and beat us i dont think he played bad i think he looked bad cuz the boys played so good. i mean look what happened to the rams when they traded kurt warner??? never the same team after that. i say keep grooming kolb and play mcnabb, trade vick..... he deserves to play quarterback not change up or wildcat QB its a wast of talent i tell ya! lol
