play: Close Shake. Gun split off-set. (Run as Is)
First read:
This play has two receivers stacked upon each other. This means that they cannot be bumped. If a guy nanos you then you have the "shake" route that
or (B) runs that cannot get bumped, and it gets even MORE wide open once he does a fake cut and cuts to the middle of the field.
Second read:
As we know this year the flats are broken. If you roll out with your QB to the right side o the field, then you have (y) or
wide open in the flats EVERY TIME unless the defense manually covers them.
Third Read:
(A)'s route is an easy route to RC. IF the defense gives you time, then you can RC this route for an easy 20 yards.
Fourth Read:
If nothing else is open, then you have (LB) running a blue route curl. This blue route means that he will give you extra time by blocking, AND if no1 else is open this is your check down.
5th Read:
Your final read is the corner route. This route kills man coverage also. Throw the passoutside, and the WR always gets in front of the corner. Note: You MUST pass lead it outside (like in front of the WR)
Conclusion: You have several man beaters, A RC route, and a flat killer.
This play is very deadly.
