Which wr screens work the best

I've checked out a bunch of different playbooks and there are actually quite a few different formations that have wr screens. Are there certain formations that work better than others?

I like the screen out of the Detroit playbook. It's the 2nd shotgun formation. Go up 2 times and you'll see a wr screen. That one has worked wonders for me

West Coast Offense - Shotgun Formation - Doubles - WR Screen

Hike the ball, wait a sec or so for the CB to be picked up by blockers if it is Man2Man, then toss to the WR waiting. If Zone can throw it a sec or so earlier. There is also a decent HB Screen out of the formation you can do to mix it up. I use this formation a lot out of the WCO because of the screen a few money plays I found.

ok ill tell you a wr screen you'll love... jayfury actually said mine.. i do it bout 3 times a game.. it can only be stoped by someone that users someone their.. and then u can precision pass it to the outside.. ur wr will then spin and catch it and run down the sidelin.. or if they dont user just right when u snap it throw it and he will catch it running.. i always get a big play or td out of it

yeah M.P. got it IMO, the slot screen is tough! lol i ran with the NE playbook earlier in the year and i scored so many TD's off of it! lol

I just started running Slot Screen out of NE 2 days ago. I've used it about 15 times. I've gotten about 6 TD's and 500+ yards from those 15 passes. It's an amazing screen. If you have a 97+ SPD WR at Slot, it's a TD at least 35% of the time.

yeah the only downfall to the slot screen is that if you dont get the right catch animation, its a loss. but all in all its a great play i used to put the TE thats on the opposite side of the screen on a hard slant to the screen side and if it was man and the defender came up in my throwing lane i could hit the TE on the slant cuz it was man. lol
