Sick little defensive write up with the raiders

We all know the raiders have an insanely fast defense, and a very good one at that. I came up with a scheme that i use when i play with them that has worked. i havent had a td scored on me for as long as I can remember. So here it is.


First of all you have to change your d playboy from the raiders to a team that has a regular quarter and not a quarter 3 deep. I use the jets d playbook.

So go into your depth chart. Take semyor and put him as your DT. then keep ellis and your de and put the starting lolb as your other de(idr his name). Then go to your corners and put huff as your third corner and branch as your fourth corner. keep namdi and johnson where they are. Then go put your 3 and 4th best corners as your FS and SS (again, dont know there names and are too lazy to check lolz). Their ratings are really low but one is 95 speed and other is 94 speed and thats all that matters in madden anyways right lol?

Ok when your in game call the basic man to man play with two deep safeties out of quarter. change the package to ROLB so you can user him in the spy, he is 89 speed.

Pinch your line in and crash them out. Reblitz your DT.

This is your basic setup and should be done every time. with this scheme you have huff and branch to help stop the run, but are also very fast and good in man coverage. you have namdi and johnson to shut down there men, then you came lurk with that 89 speed linebacker who is on a spy. since this is a quarter setup people will try and run on you, and since man allign is BROKEN this year, before the ball is hiked you should manually move your players in front of the guys they are supposed to be covering, not only for better coverage, but also helps very well in run support.

You can bump n run or you dont have to. just mix it up.

This setup is very versitile. You can throw in a fag D. i like to spread my d line and put the de's in purple zones with bump n run coverage, but only do it when you know they are gonna pass.

I also like to put my safeties in purple zones sometimes, but dont bump in run when you do this. the corners are so good you aint getting beat deep and the purple zones help with coverage.

YOu can also pinch the D line, reblitz all three, the blitz the rolb right through the A gap with bump n run coverage to a quick nano, which will work unless slide protection is used.

Also, you can blitz the safeties, dont call bump n run, bring them up to the line, and lerk with your linebacker. the safeties are so fast you will get in quick.


All in all, i love this set up. If you set up the d line the way i do, them pinch and crash them out, while reblitzing dt, it helps with the run. Also bringing huff and branch down to cornerbacks helps with the run because they are way stronger than regular corners. If you do what i said and just move your players over in front of the guys they are supposed to be covering, then stay right behind your dt with that fast rolb, people are gonna find it hard to run

And you know they aint gonna pass on you with the fastest corners with the best man coverage in the game, and huff and branch are only makin it better! passing is impossible on this defense. especially if you can lurk well with that quick rolb.

So thats my write up, kinda long and kinda sloppy, but let me know what yall think

The starting LOLB is Trevor Scott and the 3rd and 4th best rated CBs are Stanford Routt and Jonathan Holland.

sounds pretty goodd but i think even tho havin the 2 safties and 3 lien men and u userin a man wont stop a toss from adp or cj ill try it out tho and see what happens

i think the only time i use straight man is when im bringin heat but even lately ive been running more fire zone blitzes. i think the reason er'one hatin on you is cuz they dont play with the raiders. i dont this your scheme would work with any other team but maybe the eagles or packers cuz they got good man D's. i think its a good setup if it works for you but personally i wouldnt run it and yess man is a bit soft i got plays that kill man bumb n run or not, they exploit man. but if it workin for you bruh by all means keep doin what you doin. lol
