GREAT cover 2 beater

So what I do is come out in a Twin WR set and hot route the flanker on a deep curl route and the slot reciever to a streak deep. Also make sure its a play where the running back is going going to the flats where the twin recievers are.

Here is why this works: The streak takes away the deep blue zone on that side. And the running back running to the flats takes the cornerback out of the play because he has to guard him. This leaves the curl wide when he cuts back.

Also any bunch formation and the play is Verticals. This play works because the inside slot receiver is running sort of a fade route which takes away the deep blue zone and the outside receiver is running a wheel route and its later than the fade route so when hes running up the sidelines he should be wide open.

cover 2 out of the 3-4 would kill that. but vs any other cover 2 thats a nice play

Nah I labbed against it all you gotta do is just throw it towards the sidelines and right when he cuts.

Yes but this is specifically for cover 2, because a lot of people run with it this year.
