I Miss The Activity On This Site

Man we used to always host tournaments and events just for the hell of it. What happened? It seems like nobody really plays madden like that anymore, especially since CODMW2 came out. Now I see all the madden heads on my friend list on COD half the time. I mean I play COD just as much....proly more than anyone on here too, but I still like to come back to madden and play a few games. And I don't mean regualar type of games, I mean tournament games that actually mean something. I can't even get in the mood to play madden unless im playin some type of rivalry.

tell you the truth, I feel like this site is dying as far as active madden players, and will proly be like this till some events come up or till the next madden.

I don't see that happening. Right now its Christmas time so alot of people are probably away from home with family and w.o a computer for a few weeks.

As of the site, Mod and I have been working on some new ideas and improvements in the past week to bring more people in..

shits not dying MW2 came out and like expected that s*** was HUUGE, we even made a new site(zebragamer plug) to cater for the rush of the game, but the excitement is startin to wear off since its been out a month and everyone is startin to pick up madden again. these last two months before the offseason will be back to normal people will be playin madden like they used to trust me

the madden off-season hit much earlier than recent years and with COD out people aren't hooked to madden as much, but we are not dying, that's a fact.

I agree in a lot of ways. Sure, we have tons and tons of members, but it isn't as quality of a site as it used to be. The forums are packed with ebonics and a bunch of s*** I can't even read because it's too retarded. The chatbox is always busy, but rarely ever is anyone talking about Madden. So, we're not dead, but as a site working on becoming one of the best in the Madden world, it doesn't seem like we're still moving forward.

MW2 was a big Christmas hit this year. But once people get tired of playing MW2 alot more will be on Madden again. I usually still chill around the boards year round, and i would rather have less activity, then the spam ive been seeing lately.

The chatbox is filled with people all the time @ the right times.

exactly. theres always people on here, but how many of them are active playin madden like that? and when you go in the chatbox, 90% of the talk in there is about nothing related towards madden. so while the website may still have tons of members on here, in no way is it more active as far as what it was made for. theres no tournys goin on except the one im in, leagues are...i dont even know, but nobody has alot of time to be in leagues right now, and theres no tips in the forums. it feels like this site is basically like a regualar social gaming site like ign.com or something. and when people say cod is the reason why this is so, well...it was actually like that before the game even came out

we have leagues. MG is PS3 and 360, and MPFL is 360

I got burned out on madden earlier this year than in previous releases. but I might start playing again on a regular basis. After being away for just over a month, I played online again recently and it made me feel almost like a noob again!

welcome back 360madden, a lot of guys came back around this time to start playing again. Most people got burnt out in november and when they are giving it another try now, it is a lot more fun for them
