Taking days off for madden

no lie, this has been the best thing thats has happened to me in madden. Ive been plyn madden-school mods and has one because my time off of madden MENTALLY got me straight. Imma better player, and now i realize that IT's JUST A GM. if i lose o well, but i have noticed my mentall gm ovvercome my gm sometimes. Instead of panacing ive kept cool and managed to pull out a W. If u guys never had the mental gm to let madden go for a couple days, i say u should do it.

I let it go for three months during the semester, played a game yesterday and got my ass spanked. Maybe the break from Madden didn't work so well for me lol.

not a 3 month break, lol. I took like a 2 1/2 week break from ply. U go to a all year round school?

I'm a senior at the University of Wyoming.

yea a few days off never hurt me either......

i took about 2 months off. i haven't lost a game to a play now scrub since my return. i actually feel like im playing... different, not better.

i use to 'try' too hard. like i would go to my money plays and nanos too much. now my playbook is much more diverse and the play calling feels much more natural.

i still wish i could remember some of my play setups though, because they would have helped a lot in some situations.

i taking a break from madden right now. I have been in a slump losing wicked close games, like a td or less lately and its pissing me off so much. So now I'm gonna try and not play it, I only have four games so its hard not too. Hopefully after a break ill be all set

alot of times if i lose like 4 games str8..ill just shut off my xbox and not play it for a week..come back on and start winning again..but alot more i have been sticking with my gameplan even if i go down by a couple quick td's

i jsut keep my cool and by the 4th quarter..ill get most of my points

I sometimes do this too. I probably play more games than just about anybody here so sometimes when I play too much I just start to go through the motions. With a day or two off I can just get my mind straight and go back to playing smart.
