Tips against the 4-6 Defense

I play with the Ravens and i used pittsburgh offensive playbook mainly cuz i like th 5wr set.

If he uses zones just use some bunch formations or wr screens.

football 101 - says attack 4-6 defense with a spread offense - open things up - there r guys in my franchise that play 4-6 EXCLUSIVELY - sure they r tuff vs the run - BUT GO INTO A 4 wr SET - and they r in tuff - sooner or later - they will be beat to many times and will change out of the 4-6

46 speed package makes it so you have as many DBs on the field as the dime set. letting you man up if you want

best formation in the game, and there is no reason you should ever get out of it

every adjustment has a counter - u stick a bunch of DB's in at LB (4-6 defense or w/e)- i am gonna go to a jumbo set - Offensive Tackles at End - TE at WR - and power backs - run the ball rite at u - - get 3 yards MINIMUM A CARRY - 3 downs for 3 yards - gives you pretty EZ 4th down conversion to make (especially when he has nobdoy that can make the tackles fall backwards)... after a few 1st downs... - every once in a while - u break the 2nd and 3rd level of tackling - (these DB's playn LB fatigue quickly) - and bust 1 for a HUGE GAINER -

in football - real or in video games - there is and should not be an unstoppable Offense or Defense - there is always adjustments players can make to give them the advantage - the key is recognizing what these adjustments are and switching to them in a timely manner - w/o tipping off your opponent you have switched! -

ITS LIKE CHESS - MOVE - AND COUNTER MOVE - thats why the gm is so popular!

46 even with the speed package you can have fun trying to run on it

46 stacks the box and makes it hard to run on because of all the people on the LOS. and thats if i run that every down and i dont. i meant that as in you can run the normal 46 on obvious running downs, and then throw in the speed package on passing downs

ATTACK,ATTACK,BUT 46 CAN DO ANYTHING LOL.BUT IF I SAY HE USED THE SPEED PACKAGE,(CB'S AT LB) I TRY TO RUN BCUZ MOST CB'S CANT TACKLE OR SHED BLOCKS WELL.

46 is a VERY hard D to play against..your best bet would be to pass the ball but then if they put in the speed package u would have to adjust and probably run..just dont get 1 dimensional because against the 46 ur done if you do..you pretty much have to wait for your opponent to make a mistake in their playcall or blow coverage or something

The thing is if you put in the speed package you wont know. its not like it tells you in the playcall screen. i normaly use the speed package when you only have 1 RB, or obvious passing downs.

with the 4-6 i put bob sander's at rolb.and freeny at LE..mathis at RE. crash out for speed...good real good!!!!

puting sanders at ROLB is pointless being in the 46 he is already in the box where he should be

4-6 is an aggressive defense to intimidate the offense, but once you get a feel for it you'll know how to beat it.

Like most of you have said, spread the field with 3-5 receiver sets. Even if they switch to the speed package, being in the 4-6 makes the middle of the field tough to get to, but the flats and corners are your primary target zones imo.

Instead of having him at ROLB and having a worse safety over the top to make plays,why dont you just keep him at safety,audible into Cover 2 Hawk,and hot route sanders to a spy/hook and then send the spyer into a deep zone?Thank You!!!!

you would do that cause you can't cover i can you don't need to be in high 90's in skill for me to cover i know how to switch from player to player!!!when the ball is in the air!thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

obviously you do..because u were the one who wanted to switch sanders to ROLB and audible into cover 2 hawk..if u wanna we can roll gt is Th3 Ac3r
